Passing of bipartision 'Budget Control Act' Reminds me of another bill Pelosi passed last Year

If you look back how Boehner playing this Debt crisis (deal) Budget control Act bill out on the House side it reminds me Pelosi/Obama passing/ramming through Obama-care(without the budget reconciliation) :

Steps:
1) Let your House caucus base (liberal/conservative) have their play votes passing their dream plans (Dems: Obama-care Public plan or Repubs: CC+B) in the House even though you will never fight for it.
2) Create the real bill behind closed door negotiations
3) Wait till the Senate passes a modified version of that closed door negotiated bill to the House, whatever they can get through , some watered down crappy bill everyone hates
4) Call of your House members to vote on it and say to them ‘it is not perfect but it is an emergency and must be passed immediately for the party’(Obama/Boehner) . No time for fine tuning it or reading it . No short term extension of Debt limit to do that.
5) Get them to vote FOR it without reading it, as there is NO time in the emergency. It's their problem when it is found out what is in the bill is stuff they didnt know about that they would never support. Tough luck suckers!

Please recall some more inspiring days:
We'd like to know why you havent read all the bills you filed.”
“ We'd like for you to read them for yourself

DEAD ON! It’s the old ‘back-room’ deal method that the RATs employed, and REID/OBAMA suckered the Republican leadership into. Better yet, I think the Republican ‘leadership’ BOUGHT-INTO this game plan from the beginning. It’s the new way of doing things now - and it STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN!

I don’t think it would have been politically wise for the GOP to refuse to pass any kind of debt deal at all, but this practice of passing a bill whose ink is still wet has to stop. I don’t understand why they could not wait 72 hours.

But at least this one was not 3,000 pages.

If you recall my idea was for the House to send a very short term DE of $10B-$30B to the Senate to remove the crisis so the House could have some inputs into the final bill rather than an up/down vote as with Obama-care. But you know why Boehner wouldn't try a delay... BECAUSE HE WANTED IT OVER WITH and the longer the bill is out there the harder it is to pass.

Boehner gets no points from me on this and I have defended him from time to time, and usually sorry I did.

Bohnner could have pulled that off if the Tea Party caucus would vote for it, but do you really think they would?

I do remember hearing that like Obama they didnt want an time extension either but I never understood it. In the end many actually voted for this pile of crap , and they all got cut out of any say as to what was in the bill as the Senate negotiated bill was just pushed through.

I think both sides leadership knew that anymore time would have made a bills passage impossible, it had to be rammed through before anyone understood it. Delays almost killed Obama-care.

The bill is defeatist $hit, and so is anyone who voted for it.

Yep, Paul Ryan and Nancy Pelosi voting the same 'Yea' on the same massive (sounding) Deficit Reform bill brings tears to my eyes. Bipartision-$hip is what made this country great, us all working together, giving and taking, passing massive bills drafted in secret without reading them and saving all the sacrifice for the future past re-election is another moment to be proud (my MSM imitation) :)

Paul Ryan on CBS FTN says he voted FOR the Budget Control Act but NOT FOR the defense cuts in the same Budget Control Act he voted for, he said he was always against those ???

O'DONNELL: Congressman, these defense cuts are part of the Budget Control Act. You voted for the Budget Control Act. In fact I went and looked, you put on the a statement at the time it was passed and you called it a victory, and you called it a positive step forward.
So, you voted for defense cuts. And now you're criticizing the president for those same defense cuts that you voted for and called a victory.

RYAN: No, no, I have to correct you on this, Norah. I voted for a mechanism that says a sequester will occur if we don't cut $1.2 trillion spending in government. We offered $1.2 trillion in various — the super committee offered it. We passed in the House a bill to prevent those devastating defense cuts by cutting spending elsewhere. The senate's done nothing. President Obama’s done nothing.

Here is Ryan's speech praising this bill and the bipartisionship involved:

"We are actually cutting spending when we do this. That's cultural. That's significant. That's a big step in the right direction. "
Paul Ryan: Bipartisan Budget Control Act Marks a Cultural Shift in Washington

No mention of being against any budget cuts in the bill back then. Then praised it (a year ago+) after cutting a closed-room as he called it ‘historic bipartision deal‘ with Reid and Pelosi. So much for Ryan historical moments.
