In Texas he would be lucky if he made it to the courthouse.
Do they have good behavior in Norway? Could he get out in much less that 21 years with good behavior?
If he’s not convicted he’ll probably join the White House as head of Operation Gunrunner.
Yeah, but from the first floor...?
From another thread, nothing about this makes sense:

“Nevertheless, screwing around outside of marriage is after all a relatively small sin compared to the huge amounts of grace I am about to generate with my martyrdom operation.”
My comment:
That is exactly what jihadis think. And this - he did nothing in any way to act like a martyr. If he wanted to be a martyr why didn’t he shoot at the cops? He allowed himself to be arrested without incident, apparently. This does not compute whatsoever.
Every Liberal’s dream, no consequences for any type of behavior.
Yes, and Internet in his cell... and is allowed to order out for pizza... will get work-release after a short time too assuming he doesn’t break prison rules. Private cells for all.
soft on crime much?
That is the max. He could get less.
I don’t think this guy would be able to gun down over 80 people in one place without getting himself plugged (probably by several people) while reloading the first time.
And will be released in a few years on humanitarian concerns.
It's alright - within 20 years, Norwegians will have completely surrendered their country to sharia law, and then the Muslims will cut the bastard's head off.
Not for the murders, but for not being Muslim. Still, they'll finally get the job done.
On the other hand, they'll also kill all the survivors for the same reason.
Everything I’ve read says Norway’s toughest sentence is 21 years. That doesn’t mean this monster will not be tried for the acts and killings separately. Of course, trying him for each death and injury would be time consuming but since they don’t have the death penalty, it’ll at least keep him behind bars until the day he dies - which may not be that long if he’s not put into solitary.
I believe he would be eligible for release in 14 years. Norway’s prisons are very soft, similar to Sweden’s. They have a wonderful system from the prisoner’s point of view... He could be in the community much sooner since there’s work release. I would guess he will have his own wing or possibly a purpose built facility to ensure his safety.
Once he’s released they would most likely be given a new identity and would end up somewhere in the EU since they’re part of the Schengen area even though they’re not fully in the EU.
One of the articles I read stated that he was initially standing on a rock shooting at the kids. He had attracted a lot of them because he was wearing a police sweater. The girl being interviewed was hiding at the base of the rock - she said she could hear him breathing. Apparently, everyone tried to run and no one tried to rush him, pull him off the rock in that one early situation, etc. In one of the pictures released of the shooter near the water you can see a kid begging for his life with a many dead kids around him; they were all trying to swim away.
That is insane.
When he gets out, a short stint on unemployment and then retirement paid in full by the government of Norway. This guy is on easy street.
Life certainly is cheap in a Socialist Paradise like Norway - perhaps real life mass murder could become a popular role playing game there, now that they have somebody local to emulate.
