So tell us where that electricity comes from - the electricity fairy?

Someone had to burn coal, oil or gas or run nuclear for that. And then transmit the electricity.

And it took a lot of energy and pollution to mine and manufacture the metals the make up the batteries.

So while you think you are riding 330 mpg green, all you've done is dump your pollution elsewhere than out your tailpipe.
