The gang at "Fox News Watch" had some very interesting things to say about how media members who absolutely despise former Alaska governor Sarah Palin just can't get enough of her "One Nation" bus tour.
The best line came from liberal commentator Kirsten Powers who said of the former vice presidential candidate, "Its actually kind of refreshing to see somebody who just says screw you to these people who treat her like garbage" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
[Big Snip -- good comments]
MILLER: How do you get elected president - if she is running, and we still don't know - how do you get elected president with such hostility on the part of the lame stream media as she calls us?
SCOTT: Are you saying she couldnt do it, she couldnt overcome that?
MILLER: Im saying its really hard to overcome dislike and intense hatred of that kind.
POWERS: Yeah, its true. It's very difficult. I mean, when the media turned on Hillary, you saw what happened. You know, they were behind her and they decided, No, we're going to go with Obama. Hard to fight that.
Pretty interesting to have four media members of differing political persuasions all agree on how poorly Palin is and has been treated by their colleagues. If it's so obvious to these four, why don't the rest of the press get it?
Or is there something else in play?
Are the media just furious that after almost three years of tearing this woman apart, they haven't been able to finish her off? Rush Limbaugh commented on this Friday:
They hate her, they despise her, they are frustrated that they haven't destroyed her. They can't believe she's still smiling. They can't believe she's still drawing crowds. They can't believe that she's enjoying life. They can't believe her family is still together. They can't believe her husband hasn't walked out on her. They can't believe any of this. Folks, you know this as well as I do: When they set out to destroy you, they mean just that -- and Palin's not playing along with the script. She's not acting destroyed. She's not asking for forgiveness. She's not begging them to leave her alone. She's not changing in order to make them lighten up or anything. She's just looking at 'em and smiling.
Indeed, and it's galling the lot of them with the exception of the precious few that are willing to be honest with themselves and the public.
Thank you. Thank you. I was just coming back to fix that.
Used to, they could. This may be the first election in 75 years where that may not be the case.
Palin is a maverick and Politically Incorrect on all levels.
Simply put: That means she tells the truth and tells it exactly as it is. Furthermore, she answers questions with Yes and No answers and does not try to throw up smoke screens and make every effort to evade answering each and every question asked.
HELL YES! We like our Non-Robot like girl (and she takes the word girl without malice) and is truly a throwback to the times of honor, truth and morals. No wonder they hate her.
The Left will have to lean more heavily on Plan B — voter fraud. Getting voter ID approved in many the GOP held state houses is a top priority.
She’s setting a good example for all of us, re-teaching Americans to be ourselves and not the cautious, intimidated shells we’ve been told conservatives must be so the Left won’t call us names or define us as racists, etc, etc, — the “treatment” that scares people away from running for office or makes otherwise normal people think conservatism and being conservative is evil.
I’m finding the GOP rope-a-dope with the multiple “candidates,” multiple assents, denials and then assents and hearsay fascinating.

What was the name of the Leftist who (along with the social networking group he had assembled) were coordinating the slant they’d give the news?
It think it makes it tough for the ‘RAT Alinskyites to draw a bead on anyone. The ‘RAT “media” toadies can’t figure out who to go after to protect their boy, Barry. Too many targets out there moving around. Probably a good tactic for the GOP to use.
2008 and little barry restored their obnoxious arrogant confidence and have made them all the worse.
Thanks! Journalist!

I think Ezra Klein of the Washington Compost (Washington Post) was the coordinator of the JournOlist email list.
These fake journalist should be banned from journalism like a doctor who practices malpractice or a debarred lawyer.
Quick, where’s the barf bag?
Now it appears Palin has outsmarted them again with her knowledge of what actually happened on Paul Revere's ride. Let see if the media can backpedal from that/
Great collection of characters-looks more bizarre than the cantina scene in Star Wars. Amazing what liberalism does to your looks. I noticed also how many self hating Jews are in the crowd. God must be pleased.
