However, I am not buying that they have some “conspiracy” to get Palin.

In the face of all the evidence you are free to witness with your own eyes and ears. The term "pigheaded" comes to mind. Elsewhere, you posted something to the effect that Palin and Obama supporters are the same in that they're all empty, shallow, "cult of personality" types, not interested in anything but star power. Hmmmmm ... someone is acting like a zombie, alright, but it ain't the Palin supporters ...

Oh well. I hope everyone is prepared to see FOX totally betray limited government conservative politics in the GOP. If I was a gambler, I'd bet big bucks on it. FOX is going strain itself in constantly presenting "fair and balanced" slime jobs on Palin.

The pretty charade of "fair and balanced" has a liberal Democrat on one side, and Krauthammer or Kristol on, presumably, our side. If that's "balance," somebody's pretty tipsy.

Allegiance to or trust in FOX news by any of us, including Palin, is very stupid.

Who gives a crap about a poll one and one years out from an election?

Are you for real?

Since when is Quinnipiac the gold standard among polls?

So 58% say NOW they won’t vote for her? What do they even know about her, that is true?

All you have to do is move the number 9 points, and guess what, now Palin wins a majority.

And if you want Romney, you’ll need to find a new website to hang out on. The founder won’t stand for Romney supporters here, to which I say “Bravo!”

Romney has no chance to beat Obama.

"I noticed this past weekend on these Palin History/vacation/Freedom Tour threads that many of the commenters were tuning to FNC to see coverage of it. And those most favorite segments are the Greta interviews.

Any ideas media-wise on where she will get better treatment than at FNC? Should she stick with facebook and talk radio in your opinion? Just wondering..."

It is not just a matter of Fox giving her preferred treatment, but her returning the favor. What other media outlet has the access to this "tour" that Fox has? This is leading to speculation that it is a Palin/Fox tour designed to bump up ratings for both in time for her to take over Glenn Beck's slot. The fact that individual Fox contributers are not drinking the kool-aid does not alter what appears to be a symbiotic relationship between Palin and Fox.

I've seen the same thing said about almost every candidate. The zot line has gotten much tighter than it used to be.

You and me both Exit82.

There’s not much that bugs me more than when a talking head will state a damaging fact that really isn’t one, headed into a new subject. This guy has honed that tactic into a fine art form.

I don’t watch him as a general rule, but I’ve seen him do this a number of times.

It’s always to the expense of the Right too. Nobody is that stupid, and making mistakes in only one direction 100% of the time.

Nice to see you out this evening Exit82. Hugs...

Anyone who actually believed that Fox News was a Conservative network needed to get their head examined

Fox News never claimed to be a conservative network.  They only become successful because CNN and MSNBC displayed obvious leftward bias and leaving a void in the center and center-right part of the political spectrum.  FNC is a success because it welcomes all points of view, not just those on the left like the other networks.

I want Obama ejected from the White House by someone with an R next to his/her name.

Joe Lieberman has always enjoyed quite a bit of respect among Republicans. I remember reading speculation that he might switch parties in years past. It's well within the realm of possibility that could do so now and run in the Republican primary. If he won the nomination, would he be a good enough "someone with an R next to his/her name" for you? And how do you think America would look eight years down the line? What do you think the Republican party would stand for?

The recoil of voting for "anybody but ________ (liberal nightmare du jour name here) over ________ (last time's liberal nightmare du jour name here)" is the equivalent of stoking a fire.

Hey, don't feel bad -- I have voted as you counsel for decades. I have finally, however, realized that I have been engaging in Einstein's definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Someday you will too.

I try to hear all the ‘theories’ but that is the first I even heard of the idea of Palin taking over for Beck, I like that one (from an interesting rumor standpoint) but I cant see it happening though.

I think it's funny that the FNC commentators who are pretty much establishment Republicans (not conservatives) who supported TARP and amnesty under Bush are now the focus of such negative attention by many above (on this thread) because they are speaking their own opinions as commentators about the 2012 race, a theory we would normally hear on MSNBC or DU. So it is all spun as a huge conspiracy above where Roger Ales is now ordering everyone on the network what to say. If they all were treating her softly like the liberal Greta does they would be considered conservative saints as she Greta is.

Any more proof needed to point out we need a real Conservative Cable Network. No spin, no fair and balanced, no libs on, just straight conservative news, history, documentaries, studies and book clubs. Founders series, decade studies of American history, Federalist papers, and Anti-Federalist series.

Major conservatives will have their own daily or weekly shows. Shows on corruption, local politics, conservative candidates, debates, academic studies of socialism and islam, defense, 2nd Amendment, Constitutional studies. A ton of ideas come to mind.

A major push to educate the voting public before the election on November 6, 2012 is sorely needed.

If Trump is really a conservative, he would help form this. What about The Heritage Foundation, other Foundations, private contributions - a huge fund drive - to get this going?

We have a huge Pravda Media Complex. We are the voice in the wilderness. We have to do something to help our Television presence. We own the Internet and Talk Radio. Now we need at least one Cable Conservative Network. I would think the ad revenue would be huge. Any ideas? Any takers? A group entrepreneur effort?

I have only heard this speculation once and am skeptical of it actually happening. The seeming collusion between Fox and Palin during this tour is fueling such speculation.

On the one hand there is the conspiracy theory that Ailes is secretly trying to undermine Palin. On the other hand is the theory that he is secretly in collusion with her to use this "tour" and speculation about a possible candidacy as a way to gin up Fox News ratings. Both are theories based more on speculation than actual fact.

Those Freepers who believe that Palin is destined to steamroller her way to the GOP nomination and then wipe the floor with Zero in the general, really shouldn't have to get all wee-wee'd up about a "Fox News conspiracy".

If Palin becomes President, she will have done so in the teeth of the most united and concentrated media attack (news and entertainment both) in the history of American political campaigning.

Compared to the size and scope of that attack, what FNC does with her interviews does not amount to a gnat fart.

wow, a thread where I can dump on FNC, cool. I think FNC is afraid of 2 things, 1-Women, the male egos there which are HUGE cannot stand the thought of a woman telling them what to do, just dress her up real nice, smear a bunch of that slimy lip gloss crap all over their mouths, and have them sit there and agree with the guys. I think that attitude is apparent in spots here in FR too. 2-Advertiser attacks from Media Matters, they shut Beck down and have caused FNC to do almost a complete 180 in their attacks on Obozo. Now instead of cowering and watching what they say, we have the likes of Colmes barfing his chops off with renewed vigor, Beckell that lardass is blowing loud, Sheppard Smith that crosseyed Arab is pushing his liberal agenda for his poor Southern folk constantly, Juan Williams, who can look or listen to him for very long apologizing for Obozo, Weekend Fox and Friends is totally ROMPER ROOM to the max, those 2 guys remind me of a couple of failed chicago thug boys doing warmed over 2 day old news, Weekday Fox and Friends which used to be a hold-out for some good news at 3am (my time) has now also turned into a big gas bag of Hollywood Garbage, a 3 hour long commercial for Big Fox on some days, Geraldo=Democratic Joke wanting to free the PR immigrants and establish total Amnesty for border jumpers, BOR=BORE and has also gone over to sucking the Obozo shiney hiney so he can get his Christmas Party invites, which means that his good buddy Ailes does too, ITS ALL OF THEM, Greta, Hannity, Beck, they have all toned it down. Beck was the only one that was going after Obozo directly and now he sounds like one of those Passover commercials looking for sponsors for Matzoh crackers, they have all gotten the memo, and like a lot of things in my life lately, another long time friend is gone...
