The average obese person costs society more than $7,000 a year in lost productivity
How much productivity does the average lawyer cost society?

Rush is “morbidly obese”?
I know he had trouble with his weight 20 years ago, but I also heard he slimmed down considerably.

What a nauseating load of feminist dreck. This paragraph is particularly laughable:
Similarly, in big-time sports, our male superheroes are often super-fat. Harvard University, for instance, found that 55 percent of Major League Baseball players are overweight, while the University of North Carolina found that 56 percent of National Football League players are obese. These whales, of course, are interposed on TV between beer commercials featuring super-thin female models and are often playing in front of impossibly dimensioned female cheerleaders.
I didn't look up the UNC study on NFL players, but I do know the Harvard study on Major Leaguers is based on the Body Mass Index, an utterly useless standard when discussing athletes (or really anyone else for that matter). Under the BMI, players like Albert Pujols, A-Rod, and Ryan Howard are considered borderline "obese". Would anyone seriously call those three "superfat"?
How typical that an author who wails about demands of "physical perfection" from women cites a study that employs a standard which makes no allowance for differing body types.

David Sirota can kiss my ample white ass.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

I wonder if they forgot there are more fat poor people than fat rich people. The poor eat tons of crap junk food, buy all sorts of garbage with their WIC cards and electronic food stamp cards. Far more crap than average people. Hell McDonalds allows people to buy stuff with govt food cards.
Wonder if they thought about this. I am damn certain they would not have if they realized that most of their target audience is the liberal poor.

So if they weren’t “obese” they would live longer and still die eventually? I call BS.

Just within the past few years, the govt lowered weight standards. So, for someone who’s 5’6” who weighs 130 lbs, five or six years ago they fit in the ‘average’ category; if the new standard is 120 lbs. that same person today is considered ‘obese.’ The person’s weight has’t changed, just the govt standards. Those changes had to increase the ‘obese’ population by at least 10%.
Just as a reminder,(I’ve read) Marilyn Monroe was a size 14. Today, no one can be a Hollywood star if she’s larger than a size 4.

Why don’t we talk about all of the lazy bloodsuckers on welfare who do nothing but shop for free food at Walmart.
