My son was born at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu. Last year we had to get passports and he was able to get his long form. So to cover for Obama, we will not be able to get them anymore. Talk about a major cover up. Now we have to part of that cover up so he does not look bad?

Don't worry, it won't work.

Hawaii's attempt to prevent access to Obama's nonexistent records will be about as effective as Trump's attempt to disguise his thinning hair.

Trump has the goods on Obama and the manure will hit the fan soon.

So NO ONE who needs a LFBC from Hawaii can get one, ergo, they cannot get a Driver’s license renewed or a passport issued.
I just renewed my DL in January, and had to show my LF BC. They went over it like it was a counterfeit hundred dollar bill. Even called in a supervisor to look at it again. It was one of those 1950’s era photocopy black/white negative style..........

This policy is a transparent effort to give Obama an excuse to not come up with a long-form, implemented after Trump raised the issue in the public eye. It is a violation of HRS 338-13, HRS 338-18, and UIPA.

HRS 338-13 specifically states that a person SHALL be given either a copy of their birth certificate or a copy of the CONTENTS of their birth certificate upon request. Photocopy is one method of making a COPY. If a person requests a copy of the actual birth certificate - not just the contents of the birth certificate (a short-form is a partial abstract of the content on a birth certificate) - HRS 338-13 says they SHALL be given it.

This policy is a clear violation of that law.

Somebody needs to sue the heck out of these people. If they’re saying they can’t afford the personnel to make photocopies of birth certificates then they sure as heck can’t afford the lawsuits that THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR as each person who is refused their records sues.
