Why do Democrats Vote for Their Own Destruction?
Evil Conservative ^ | 7 Apr 11 | PG

It makes no sense to me. Democrats routinely vote against their own long-term interests, sending people into elected jobs with what seems like a mandate to tear things up. After all the courage and tenacity shown by Governor Scott Walker in his showdown with the public employee unions whose high pay and rich benefits are bankrupting the state, the unions poured millions into bringing out their base - Democrats who are willing to vote for their own impoverishment.

Amazingly, it looks like the unions were successful in selling Wisconsin-ites on an anti-fiscal responsibility platform:...

I think you have to be raised a leftist to understand it. Since that’s my origin, I can offer my own opinion.

The left believes in revolution. This comes from its roots in the French Revolution and Marxism, both of which accept as a natural premise that the old must be swept away and replaced by the new. The French Revolution sought to overturn all the old values and concepts, even up to the point of changing the clock to a decimal system and trying to kill priests and nuns. The bloodshed isn’t just a necessary evil; it is something to be enjoyed and embraced to bring about the new order. Marxism incorporates this into its very theoretical framework, as each step in the march of history leads inexorably toward communism on the shattered remnants of the previous step.

So the Democrats don’t see this as self-destruction. They see it as OUR destruction. They expect to be in command of the next “stage” of history when we are finally exterminated.

First of all it is much easier to tear down that create and build up.
Why do you think Dummies NEVER have an original idea?

Plus they live in some brain damage fog that somehow the destruction will never get to them.

I heard today that the supposed Egyptian “miracle”, has made the poverty and other hardships even WORSE.

Dummies throw out WORDS, but never stick around to clean up the mess.

Good points... I just have the hardest time getting my head around the idea that Democrats seem to be cheering the willful destruction of the most prosperous nation in history. It makes no sense to me. Thanks for the insight.

It was probably more than only Democrats voting for their destruction. Many Republicans are also unionized public school teachers, cops, other government employees, and the like. But yes, all are socialists trying to continue their debt regime under big government, “free trade,” political correctness, etc.

Some of the founding fathers predicted that the nation would fall apart when too many people wanted too much from government. Because of the “moochers” and the RATS we’re coming apart at the seems. Walker should either declare bankrupty or lay-off workers to bring the budget under control.

Liberalism is more of a ‘cult’ or a religion than it is a political movement.

How many Jews and Christians routinely vote against their most fundamental beliefs to support Liberals? They can’t help it. They have been absorbed and lose their own free will.

I know many Liberals who would absolutely vote for Stalin or Hitler before they would vote for Palin or any Republican. They are just out of their minds.

Liberalism is a kind of infection or mental issue. It is not a part of normal, calm, sane, rational thought.

It is fanaticsism.
It is inexplicable.

Idiots, 80 million gun owners with hundreds of millions of guns and they expect to successfully exterminate us? Bad idea, very bad...

Many Republicans are also unionized public school teachers, cops, other government employees, and the like.

Yesterday someone posted that Utah had stopped collecting union dues from school employees pay some years ago. Within three years 95% of teachers had opted out of their union. No need to suspend collective bargaining "rights" or decertify a union. Cut off the automatic payroll deduction and the union will die all by itself.

GtG

From your blog site:

" Shamelessly whoring for constitutionally limited government"

That's the first time I've seen the phrase "constitutionally limited government" used as a euphemism for "hits from FreeRepublic."

I suppose congratulation are in order. I managed to acquire no fewer than 34 cookies in a single click on your site. I'll have to check with a few other Freepers, but that may be some kind of record.

In any event, you have your scummy blog "shamlessly whoring" to the max.

Let's hope they taste like "chicken", it's going to be a real mess rebuilding from ashes.

Great post, thanks...

Isn’t it against Free Republic rules to return and create another account after you’ve been banned?

Isn’t that a “troll?”

Hmmmm...?
