Congratulations to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin who won the March Townhall/HotAir Straw Poll with 16.91% of the vote! For the second straight month Texas Congressman Ron Paul came in right behind her, this time amassing 16.02%. The results are starting to get really close in comparison to the previous months.
Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann was the mover and shaker this month, gaining 1.47 percentage points. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie saw the biggest decrease in support, losing 1.42 percentage points. The second biggest decrease come from the winner Sarah Palin at 1.23 percentage points. Is this an indication that next month see a new candidate in the top spot? We will see!
Thank you for voting in the March Republican Straw Poll!

((PING))
this is merely a strawpoll of those who visit the site, nothing more, nothing less
Vote PING!
Voted for Bill and Opus. No, wait that was before. It was Palin this time, LOL! ;-p
Palin/West 2012!
Doesn’t matter. Palin’s not electable. She’s nothing. /LSM and some Freepers’ meme
Which of course is why the LSM spends so much time attacking her. This straw poll shows how that’s working for them...
Until she loses, then it will be conclusive proof that is not the candidate of choice and proof that she is unelectable. We know the script.
Yep.
And we all know that MSM will repeat this over and over because they are looking out for conservatives just to be sure we nominate a candidate that can beat the Most Holy Øne, Hussein Little Bammy The Magnificent in 2012.
They do not want us to nominate a loser RINO or PRIC so the commies can win. No way.
Got it.

I was going to vote (for Sarah, fwiw), but read the warning about getting spammed. I recieve a minimum of 50 unsolicited emails every day, and the list is growing expotentially as their strategic partners acquire my email address.
I use a fake Yahoo account for just this sort of thing to thwart the spammers.
This sounds really good, but then I like any ballot with Palin as president. VP could be Paul, West, Rubio, (fill in the blank).
Just go back, vote for Sarah and make up a hotmail/yahoo email address
Governor Sarah Palin is a formidable candidate and political leader, something that the American Mainstream media will never acknowledge. Her threat to the Left and the Democrat Party is obvious from the non-stop bashing by the Left and their media allies. Her every word, every tweet, every Facebook posting, every op-ed is news, and is examined and scrutinized, and for all their efforts, they cannot bring her down. Gov. Palin is still leading the fight against the Democrats.
No, Gov. Palin did not say: I can see Russia from my house Tina Fey the comedian said that.
Yes, Gov. Palin often works 20 hours a day. And Yes, she fights the Left harder and more effectively than the rest of the Republicans put together.
Gov. Palins foreign policies are more robust and coherent than Obamas haphazard and vacillating policies. Watch her speech in India; read her speech in Hong Kong, China (she even mentioned elder statesman Lee Kuan Yew (Singapore politics aside)). Israels PM, Netanyahu, a very astute political leader, treated Gov. Palin as a head-of-state during her recent visit.
Yes the Democrats and the Lamestream Media will bash her 24/7, but they still cannot bring her down.
$ Millions of dollars are sitting on the sidelines waiting for her to announce. I laugh when I read the amounts that so and so have raised.
