Your mechanism comes into effect only if the President elect has died

1st rule of interpretation...you have to be able to read it correctly. Go back & read “JUST” the “BOLD PRINT”

Unfortunately I suspect that it will never happen. Consider what would happen if he were challenged. A few lynchings would be mild. The Donks would be on open revolt. And that is just the start.

Has any one of the current 535 members of Congress supported the position that the President-Elect failed to qualify in 2008-2009?

Has any court of law in the nation supported that position with a decision on an Obama eligibility lawsuit?

Who do you suspect Majority Leader Harry Reid and the 53 Democrats in the US Senate would name to replace the current president?
My money’s on Joe Biden.

And on the House of Representatives side: [On Obama’s eligibility] “I don’t think it’s an issue that we need to address at all, it is not an issue that even needs to be on the policy-making table right now whatsoever.”—Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor

“The state of Hawaii has said he was born there. That’s good enough for me, The president says he’s a Christian. I accept him at his word.”—Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner

I find it funny that jame$e (post 85) has been relegated to jumping into conversations and pulling out what remains his best stand-by argument: “Oh yeah? Well a lot of highly placed important people disagree with you, so you must be wrong!”

Now that Trump has made an impact on this, the numbers of “important people” willing to ask questions seems to be growing.

I am beginning to feel a glimmer of hope in the fact that even the liberals seem to be less likely to answer back with, “He's already shown us the birth certificate.”

When Trump says Obama hasn't shown his Birth certificate, the response is seems to be turning toward, “Why should he be pushed to turn it over?” In my mind that's a small improvement over “He already has.” or “I'm holding a copy of it right here.”

What argument will these people rally around if the balance of power begins to shift, when there aren't so many more big names on their side?

John Sydney McCain was born in a public hospital in the city of Colonia, Republic of Panama.

The Senator is a U.S. citizen because of ‘jus sanguinas’, by the blood, as his parents are both U.S. citizens. Though a citizen, he wasn’t born in the U.S.A., thus is not a natural born citizen and cannot become President.

The United States leased and operated the Panama Canal, but no representative of Panama never signed any agreement handing over sovereignty of their land to the U.S.

There still exists time for states with initiative processes to have such an issue voted on this coming fall’s elections.

On the Rusty Humphries show last week, the former Republican vice-presidential candidate said of the quasi-controversy surrounding Obama's birth certificate: "I think the public rightly is still making it an issue … I think it's a fair question just like I think past associations and past voting records."

ROFL, you cite a year and a half old “BRITISH” newspaper where Palin said that “it's a fair question”. Just tell me one thing....

Where has Plain been the last 15 mths? If she really believed in the constitutional requirements....where has she been?

GIVE ME A BREAK!

“Where has Plain been the last 15 mths? If she really believed in the constitutional requirements....where has she been?”

WELL could it be that she, and her crack research staff realize that CORSI’s BOOK is due out any day...and she wants him to get the widest amount of exposure on it....and so has left this one particulal topic to this ‘expert’ and then she’ll join in at the appropriate time? After all, ‘timing is everything’ as they say. That’s my unbiased take on it.

Huckabee flippantly replies: No, you actually don't

Flippant or not, that is true. Unfortunately.

The one I don’t like is Beck. I liked him when he was exposing people. I hate him now trying to tell us what he thinks is going to happen in the near future. I know he says, “Now I have told you this but it is up to you to read and find out for yourselves.” We no longer watch Beck. I know it is hard to dwell on happy times when things in the world are so upside down but the happy times are what we try to think about some of each day.
