Chairman of Progressive Insurance Peter Lewis Funding Leftists

PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE: rest of the story

You know their TV commercials . . . they're the ones featuring the perky actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of leftist causes in America .

Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most Responsible for destroying what's left of Americas Judeo-Christian heritage.

Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org and American Coming Together, two key propaganda arms of the socialist left.

His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the America-hating socialist who is the chief financier of the Obama political machine.

Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system that is targeting television shows on Fox News.

Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) so that he can help dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He is banking on no one finding out who he is.

So . . . STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all your friends.

I first heard this during the 2006 midterms. Hence the name “progressive” I guess.

I carried Progressive years ago (thru AAA, btw). Dropped it. Have told my adult children to buy ANY insurance that is NOT Progressive. Tho, to be fair, GEICO is now owned by Warren Buffett, who’s not a whole lot better than Lewis. Ironically, GEICO was founded by a group of conservatives.

Lewis's leftwing sympathies have been out in the open and well known. His business has been highly successful however, so he certainly doesn't eschew profiteering from the system he would like to undermine.

As I understand it, GEICO is the more conservative alternative. Besides, the urbane lizard is more charming than the bubbly wench with a pasted-on smile and a pricing gun.

Is that the irritating commercial with the annoying dark haired girl with the garish makeup and hairdo who is always spouting off with perpetual perkiness?

Like I tell my kids, there ain’t no way either Progessive or GEICO has the cheapest rates because they have a TV commercial on every channel at least once every half hour.

GEICO was originally started, way back when, to provide insurance to govt workers and military families:

Government Employees Insurance COmpany

As far as rates GEICO has always gotten me better rates on my cars than anybody, including Progressive. However, Progressive offered me the best rate on my motorcycle, where as GEICO wanted 3 times as much.

Maybe, if you can overlook the fact that GEICO is the acronyum for Government Employees Insurance Company. It originally insured only federal employees and certain military officers.

I read long ago that the guy that started Progressive Insurance and George Soros were BFF....tried to warm my friends and all my contacts....not many listened...few took action....just another in a long saga of people being warned, ignoring the warning and Socialism keeps getting stronger.
