If you are a true GREEN BAY PACKERS FAN, you just might enjoy: THE PACKER BROTHERS PODCAST!

The Packer Brothers Podcast? It's high-energy, passion, and love for the Green Bay Packers – with a dash of humor.

Packers 34, 49ers 16

Another slow start for Green Bay, this time in the friendly confines of a chilly and windy Lambeau Field. But dominate they did, eventually, their shaky visitors from San Francisco.

Another lights-out performance by Aaron Rodgers, a sensational rumblin', bumblin', stumblin' TD by a healthy Donald Driver to seal the victory, and a surprisingly strong debut by the sixth-round rookie running back from the University of Buffalo, James Starks. Seventy-three yards on 18 carries helped to balance the Pack attack greatly, keeping the 49er defensive line alert--maybe too alert, given their jumpiness in reacting to AROD's hard snap count, obliging his sharp acting with FIVE offsides penalties in the second quarter alone.

Oh and two more touchdown catches by Greg Jennings, ho hum. The restoration (for a week, at least) of the 3rd and 1 running game (KUUUUUUUUHN!) was a welcome sight. And overall the defense was solid, keeping the 49ers under 300 net yards and registering four sacks. The only real blemish was a shocking whiff by Nick Collins in coverage, allowing a long TD pass to standout San Francisco tight end Vernon Davis at the end of the first half. Special teams were, as usual, anything but, with Mason Crosby clanking an early field goal off the upright (from 29 yards!)

Probably not the Packers' very best effort--that's still coming--but definitely plenty good enough to handle the 49ers.

On to Detroit, to face off with the Kitties for the second time this season, this time in their sandbox, Ford Field.

Packers running back James Starks sees his first game action as a Packer
and shows that even an ugly throw-back uniform can’t stop an energetic and skilled runner.

Pete and Jack -- real brothers from the same mother -- grew up in the shadow of Lambeau Field.

Packers should be undefeated. They are great when they are healthy and not bad when banged up.
