Oh, dearest you. Our 15 year old Pug was acting like that, and it took 2 months to figure out that it was the flea killer that was making him sick. We now give him 2 Benedryl and one baby aspirin a day and he’s fine. Our youngest granddaughter entered his symptoms on the computer and found the Benedryl and baby aspirin ‘cure’, but it took 2 months to realize that it was the monthly dose of the damn flea killer that was causing him all the sickness and discomfort.
If you treat yours with once monthly flea killer, it could be the cause or an aggravation.
I wish you the best of luck and I will pray for your sweet dog and for you. This is very sad.
It’s time for your very special friend to cross over to the other side. Be with him when the time comes, and hold him gently, and tell him how much you love him.
Don’t let your friend suffer. Release him from his struggles. You will be together again someday.

be brave and let your beautiful dog go.
I have 2 13 year old dogs myself, and I know when “it’s time” I will do the right thing, but I will bawl like a baby.
I’m literally typing this through tears. We had three Dobermans over the course of 20 years that had cardiomyopathy. It’s evidently common in that breed.
The hardest thing was “letting go”. Our vets were beyond compassionate especially when I asked them what they would do in that situation. We’re here for you, FRiend. Please hug Wally for me.....

Does your dog still seem to be enjoying life? If not, can its pain be relieved with medication? Those are the big questions.
