Rubio's Acceptance Speech typifies Tea Parties Spirit

Marco Rubio won a Senate seat after a campaign in which he pushed Gov. Charlie Crist from the GOP to run as an independent. That is what the Tea parties where all about, removing Republicans in name only and removing Democrats who opposed the American people and who consider the American people their enemies.

Senator-elect Marco Rubio(R-Fl) accepts his victory graciously and outlines the approach and the spirit, which we, who love America, wish to prevail in Washington D.C. (see 8:15min video)

And contrast his remarks with those of, say, Jerry Brown or Barb “call me ma’m” Boxer.

The man was eloquent. My wife and I screamed at Fox when they broke away from him to introduce Hannity. So we went to FBC where they were still showing his speech...until they too broke away for some bozo or other.

Wow! Bearing witness to God’s guidance in his life.

I hope he was born here, because, gauging from this speech, if he really means what he says, he could be PRESIDENTIAL material.

“I am, and will always be, the son of exiles” or something like that....great sentiment for the night

He certainly displayed humility, the exact opposite of the jerk we now have in the White House.

He's got 10 years to prepare for it. He won't be ready in '12 and starting in '12 will be 8 years of some other Republican. Then Rubio in '20.

I also changed channels when Fox broke away from Rubio’s speech.

This morning Bill Bennett and whatever guest he had on (think it was Rick Santorum) were saying that Rubio should be on the ticket in 2012.

IOW, pull an Obama? Let's see how he does first. I like the guy, he said all the right things. But I want to see some accomplishments before I begin considering him for VP or higher. And after how Obama turned out, I'm not sure the American public will be that agreeable to a newbie Senator with that kind of ambition...

Yes, but not yet.

Get some experience under his belt and a record we can look at.

No doubt he could use it but watching his off the cuff “thank you” speech was inspiring.
No f’ing teleprompter...
