"The Daily Kos, Twittergate & Obama's Birth Certificate Controversy"
From Dreams from My Father: I ceased to advertise my mothers race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.
From Dreams from My Father : I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mothers race.
From Dreams from My Father: There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.
From Dreams from My Father: It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.
From Dreams from My Father: I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didnt speak to my own. It was into my fathers image, the black man, son of Africa, that Id packed all the attribute I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm(X), DuBois and Mandela.
From The Audacity of Hope: I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.
He not only knew they had problems, this evidence proves Moulitsas was the first to put the BC on the internet. Where did he get it from? Who gave it to him since only a family member is allowed to get it per the Hawaii Health Department? There's so many questions here about this Moulitsas person.
It seems these questions and more are asked in the first BC appearance that Moulitsas posts and they laugh at him. Then days later, FactCheck.org mysteriously finds it and adds a few conjured answers to the original doubts and laughter at Moulitsas, trying to make it appear as a more credible story and source. It makes sense they had to fix it. They're all laughing at the "trimmed BC" that Moulitsas is waving around, so they plug up a few holes and ship the BC over to FactCheck.org.
Then, while everyone is scrambling around trying to find clues with FactCheck.org, they should have been questioning Moulitsas since he's really the snake on puppet strings here.
All I can say is wow, Erica! The media didn't hone in on this. The lawyers didn't pick up on it. You're one of the few blogs that is starting to put 2+2 together. The duping of the American public runs really deep!
Really good to see you and Steve doing work on this together.
