Imam Rauf, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar: the truth is offensive

The truth is offensive. It's the new liberal dementia.

Marwan al-Shehhi
Fayez Banihammad
Mohand al-Shehri
Hamza al-Ghamdi
Ahmed al-Ghamdi
Hani Hanjour
Khalid al-Mihdhar
Majed Moqed
Nawaf al-Hazmi
Salem al-Hazmi
Ziad Jarrah
Ahmed al-Haznawi
Ahmed al-Nami
Saeed al-Ghamdi
Mohamed Atta
Waleed al-Shehri
Wail al-Shehri
Abdulaziz al-Omari
Satam al-Suqami

The above have one thing in common, and it is indisputable.

For the purpose of promoting his new book, Bill O'Reilly appeared on The View recently. Predictably, the visit got heated, especially as regards the Ground Zero Mosque. When O'Reilly made the statement "Muslims killed us On 9/11" the two biggest idiots on the show walked out.

"That is such bullsh*t," Goldberg exclaimed in the midst of a cacophony of back-and-forth yelling.

As though O'Reilly told a lie. Goldberg immediately resorted to usual braindead liberal canard:

Goldberg shouted "What religion was Mr. McVeigh? [referring to Timothy McVeigh, the convicted American-born terrorist who blew up the Oklahoma City Building in 1995] Mr. McVeigh was an Extremist as well and he killed people," before she and Behar walked off the set in protest.

McVeigh was really more like Obama mentor Bill Ayers and his Weathermen than anything else, and he did not kill anyone in the name of God or Allah, as did the 9-11 participants. Those subtleties are lost on Behar and Goldberg, but then that is often the case. In fact, the bottom line of Osama Bin Laden's letter to the American people as to why he masterminded the 9-11 attacks is simple-

"Allah made me do it."

Everybody's favorite Ground Zero Imam Faisal Rauf took advantage of the opportunity to insist that water isn't wet.

"Bill O'Reilly's remarks about Islam on The View were not helpful to the cause of mutual trust and understanding and only served to further fuel an irrational fear of Islam," says Rauf. "We all have a right to express our opinions. But we also have a responsibility to do so in a civil and respectful fashion."

So we're all entitled to our freedom of speech, except when it offends Muslims. Or Whoopi Goldberg.

Rauf goes on to make things even more clear:

I wish BOR had called those morons on the questions of women-in-burkas and women-doing-forced-labor and women-stoned-to-death and women-in-Islam-in-general.

I’ve recently been reading a book about the 1850s. All this reminds me very strongly of the “code of silence” around the evils of slavery.

Polite people weren’t supposed to bring it up, as it would only inflame controversy and make peace between the sections more difficult. In fact, for decades petitions against slavery were not allowed to even be presented to Congress, pretty much in direct violation of the Constitution.

Pro-slavery extremists reacted extremely violently, even on the floor of Congress, when the plain truth was told about their “peculiar institution.”

Uncle Tom’s Cabin played an enormous role in destroying the code of silence. Unfortunately, just as the polite people predicted, open discussion of the issue led directly to civil war.

Sometimes tellling the truth really does lead to violence. Doesn’t mean we should allow the extremists veto power over telling the truth.

When the Muslims around the world declare war on the radical Muslims that want all the infidels murdered and cut off heads then, I will respect those Muslims. THEY, IN THE MASS, HAVE NOT AND CELIBRATE ANY DEATH OF THE INFIDELS. A few millions verses the billions does not get it for me.

“open discussion of the issue led directly to civil war.”

Now you've done it. We may end up fighting the Civil War/War Between the States/War of Northern Aggression all afternoon.

One has to wonder, if a person has an inability to accept and deal with facts and truth, shouldn’t they be under pyschiatric treatment? How can one function and think correctly if one cannot face reality?

Personally, I’ve abandoned all attempts to deal with reality, and am now looking for a good fantasy.

It totally amazes me that so-called feminists defend Islam.

In my chuch, for example, home of the good folk who think tolerance will get them an in with Jesus, we received an invitation to visit a local temple of Islam.

Everyone was thrilled and excited. How very cute it will be, how tolerant, how liberal to go over there and let them tell us how wonderful Islam is.

They remind me of the mad scientist in the horror movies who is always convinced that the monster is his friend, until, well, he find out the truth, a little too late.

When we have people trying to erect a monument to McVeigh, then these idiots can start making comparisons.

To my knowledge, no temple has been erected in his name...

McVeigh was not a Christian. Is she claiming he was?

I’m not entirely sure if that was her implication. It very well could be.

But -my- primary point was that, regardless of affiliation, naming McVeigh as a counter example to the Muslims who attacked us is ridiculous until someone decides to erect a memorial in McVeigh’s honor, as is essentially being done in New York.

These people are idiots though, so I wouldn’t waste my time trying to use reason with them.
