I was watching a documentary on the sixties on History Channel the other night. I heard Reagan’s quote about the Haight-Ashbury “subculture” once he became CA governor: “They dress like Tarzan, have hair like Jane and smell like Cheetah.” I laughed out loud. No wonder the hippie/commie/lib-Dems went apoplectic when he was elected President. And they still haven’t gotten over it.

He drove them crazy. It was fun to be a conservative back then, the media and the left hated the President but his charm made their efforts to belittle him seem cruel. The national outpouring of love at his death was a refutation of the liberal attack machine. They were SURE they has trained America to hate Reagan... and they were shocked at the reverence shown him.

Yes it was EGPWS! I haven't felt the same sense of pride since those days. He was incredibly inspirational and it was the biggest honor of my life to have served as a member of the 'Flight Line Crash Crew' when he'd fly Marine One in and out of MCAS Tustin, CA.

Are you crazy or just coming of age?

Reagan wasn’t seemingly anything of your delusions.

Reagan threw cold water in the face of enemies and opened Americas eyes that WE are that “Shining City on the Hill” and called a Evil for what is.

He direct and honest in his conversation and that is what made him great.

Calling a thing for what it is and reminding of us of our unique and special in the world and our contribution to humanity with our better days ahead of us.
