For the last several weeks there has been a debate raging over whether the grounds surrounding where the 9/11 attacks in Lower Manhattan are sacred and if it would be an appropriate place for an Islamic place of worship to be built. But if it isnt appropriate, would it be an appropriate place for a Tea Party rally to be held? Possibly not.
But whether thats the case or not, Newsweeks David A. Graham would have you believe there will be a so-called Election Day Tea Party rally held at Ground Zero, led by former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, as an effort to shore up support for a 2012 presidential bid.
And now, TPM's Jillian Rayfield reports, he's preparing for an Election Day Tea Party rally at Ground Zero, Graham wrote in a Newsweek Sept. 22 post. As she says, that could be the machinations of a man interested in mounting a White House run.

The difference is a 4 hour gathering, info on the web for a couple days, and everyone goes home. The mosque will be there for several hundred years.
LIARS, the rally was at the UN. (Bolton was a UM ambassador.
They were protesting Amadjihad.
The next time Newsweek goes on the block for $1, I promise to buy the magazine, fire all its employees, auction off its properties to conservative publishers and donate the proceeds to Israeli orphans of Palestinian violence.
I hate NewsWEAK. Most of the mags like that and Time have simply went into full leftwing slant and are not worth anything.
He was at the Rally for people demonstating against Amadjihad. He was outraged that A was even allowed into the U.S.
He is too honest in his opinions to probably make it very far in the process. But, he would definitly help focus the voters on the dangers of Islamofascism. IMO
Sudanese and Iranians dukeing it out at NYC Hotel.
Good thinking. But be careful to use some sort of corporate shell when you buy it, or you'll be in debt for the rest of eternity, even if you close it immediately.
That $1.00 also included accepting $19 Million of debt.
We just got two issues of Time magazine in the mail, addressed to my wife, completely out of the blue.
Then, yesterday, we got a letter saying that it was time for her to renew her subscription. I read it very carefully to be sure that if she DIDN’T renew they wouldn’t still somehow get her hooked on a perpetual subscription. I don’t THINK they can do that, but who knows?
They are getting desperate.
That's true, but I'm sure I could solicit many $1 donations from people if I simply promised them that they would never, ever have to suffer through an issue of Newsweek again. That, plus the sold-off assets might do the trick. ;-)
If nothing else, Bolton might have a wonderful court case here.
Newsweek is now owned by Jane Harmon’s husband.
Hope Bolton sues him & cleans up a huge amount of money.
Yellow journalism. A periodical best used to soak up puppy dog pee.
I doubt that very much.
This is how that scam works. They have to do audited circulation for advertisers. So if say Xerox or Fed Ex wants to ran an ad, they will say “okay we will pay $5,000 for a full page ad based on 535,000 subscribers.”
Well they don’t really have 535,000 subscribers ( a number I just made up). So they send out a few hundred thousand freebies with this scam and count your wife as a subscriber. The audit company comes in and says okay you mailed out 535,000 mags. So it must be true.
It is a total scam used by failing magazines. This happened to me with Blender magazine - a young hipster music magazine. Out of the blue I started getting Blender. They failed and Maxim bought their customer list. Then I was getting Maxim with scantilly clad idiots on the cover. The magazines are targeted to 18 year olds.
Smae scam like NewsWeak.
If you ever buy a stereo or a car with a stereo - make sure it is not Harman Kardon. This is Harman’s hubby.
At one point I thought that Newsweek was reputable.
Now I believe nothing out of any of the MSM until I check and double check.
Sad, they were supposed to be the watchdogs of our republic, not lapdogs of the socialists.
