The Architect Has No Clothes
American Thinker ^ | 9-16-10 | C. Edmund Wright

Frightening as the image might be to ponder, "the architect" Karl Rove was stripped bare for all to see on Fox News' Hannity show Tuesday night, thanks to his odd response to Christine O'Donnell's win in Delaware.

Rove demonstrated to all what I have believed since 2000: that he is a political operative with little or no evidence of a philosophical soul. Voters -- equally soulless in his mind -- are mere commodities to deal with, and precincts are the way these commodities are organized. They are to be bought and sold with the micromanaging of a trade deal here or a pro-life direct mail piece there -- orchestrated by the ruling elitists in Washington.

Politics are a strange science.
For years the liberals thought Karl Rove was Satan. Now the conservatives think he’s Satan. His list of allies grows slim.

It is amazing what a hornet’s nest Rove has stirred with this. This is not to criticize your post but I think there have been more than a dozen posts on the fallout from Rove’s comments.

We need a purge of (at least) two political categories:

1) Elitists like Obama and Pelosi who think they know better than we do and expect to make our decisions for us.

2) Operatives like Rove, Carville, Matalin who really don't know or care about anything except selling themselves to the highest bidder and trying to manipulate others in whichever direction pays best.

The people of this country deserve better (I hope).

I find it funny how so many pundits are surprised at Rove’s elitist comments over the O’Donnell election. It should have been obvious. He was a long time top adviser to a POTUS that came from a ruling elitist family with a long history of being at the top of politics and the ruling elites. What would have been surprising would have been if his comments showed him to be a genuine guy and not an elitist......

Rove got his reputation from Alinsky. He was one of the biggest targets that the Alinksy “freeze the target and demonize him” method created.

We see today, use of such methods has a long tail that swings around like a dying monster’s.

In freezing on their own construct of a super-powered evil Rove the Democrats and liberals — in fact the whole ruling class, DEM GOP MSM — have wholly missed the growth of popular citizen discomfort, discord and disgust with them and their governance and power. THEY have been blind to seeing US. Now we are all over them.

It’s not just Rove, of course, THEY created, cherished and worshiped (of a sort of worship) their own wee gods and idols — the BIG PEOPLE that the MSM and ruling class punditry considers it’s Go-to-guys to speak to US about how OUR government must be to work, about what WE must be to thinking and about how WE must be to act.

Ha ha ha!

THEY are over.

We are we. Us is us. THEY knew US not.

Rove is a PAID political consultant. As such, he will follow the party line, because they are the ones paying him - even if he disagrees personally. Didn't Ronald Reagan say politics was the second oldest profession?

Since the scumbag Rove’s remarks regarding Christine O’Donnell, I am now a former Rove listener. When I see this scum on TV I switch the channel. He did a great job exposing himself to millions of us who bought his crap. He must of had a lot of money riding on Castle to vent the venom that he displayed. Goodbye Rove, you had a nice ride, now go sell some of your books. Bwahahahhahaha!!!!!!!!

For years the liberals thought Karl Rove was Satan. Now the conservatives think he’s Satan. His list of allies grows slim.

It reminds me of an old movie (I forget the title and actors). The main character had a radio talk show that was basically what the Jerry Springer/Oprah Winfrey et. al. do now - a sob, whining show.

Towards the end of the movie, the guy is giving is a radio show and confronts someone he has been sparring with all movie. Forgetting that he has an open mic (or maybe someone turned the mic on to spite him) he goes into a 3 or 4 minute speech putting down his mewling, whining audience.

The incoming call lights go blank and the movie ends with him on the microphone begging and pleading with his audience to forgive him, that it was all a joke.

Anyway, that's what I thought of when I saw that clip of Rove.

Last night on Gretas show, Rove tried to defend himself by saying he was hired by FOX to be an analyst.

He loses that argument because he went on a total personal attack on this woman. I have never seen him go after a democrat or another republican in that fashion.

If he wanted to maintain credibility he should have stated that he had issues with O’Donnell and left it there.

Rove should also keep in mind that GWB was not perfect either. I think that many of O’Donnells problems are related to the kinds of problems many Americans are going through today. Mainly, she isn’t wealthy.

The average American doesn’t consider themself to be unworthy because they have trouble paying off loans or doctor bills. It is a fact of life for many people.

Rove is angry because he though we were all going to fall in line with his plans for 2010 and 2012.

He would do well to refrain from any more commenting on this race. He has done enough damage.

LADIES OF THE TEA PARTY--

It's time for retribution. Do you want some as much as I do?

A little-known fact is that the Tea Parties are majority--women.

We've been insulted, called "nutty"--can "slutty" be far behind?

I don't want to give up on Rove. I want to bruise him.

When O'Donnell won, I thought, "Now's the time, Karl, to gracefully eat some crow and get on board."

But he didn't. He continued on his personal attack. Then he did it again.

Of course you know, Karl, this means war.

“”the architect” Karl Rove was stripped bare for all to see”

Sad but true.

On the flip side, RINO criticism of us could greatly influence our victory.

I think Rove has lost it.
