I’m not interested in what Mr. Rove has to say anymore.

The GOP has made a real ass of itself regarding Christine O’Donnell. I am honestly offended at their reaction.

Who cares what the Liberal Republican Karl Rove thinks anymore. He supports the Obama agenda behind the scenes. And he behaves like a Democrat when his poor little Rino’s get beaten fair and square.

Winning this race in Delaware now would destroy the Liberal GOP’s PR machine inside the party.

The "moderates" in the GOP have all crawled way out on the “She cannot win” limb. Now is the time to saw it off behind them. Do that and we destroy the RINOS credibility so baldly they will not be able to resurrect it for 2012.

Delaware is a small state. Enough money in O'Donnells coffers can do a whole lot of good there. Much more good then the millions being spent elsewhere like CA.

This is starting to look more and more like the late 1970s when Reagan's wingnuts took back the party from the Rockefeller Republicans.

IF the candidate IS a nut and doesnt win ....then what?

I have no idea who she is or what she is about but the interview I saw of her did not inspire confidence

Let's see--Specter, Crist, Scuzzofava, McCain, Murkowski, Castle...

Does anyone still think the geniuses running the Republican committees are really conservative at all? We need a serious housecleaning.

We try again next time. What we absolutely can not do is allow crypto-liberals to run the Republican party. That theory has been an abject failure.

Are you really trying to spread the vile Rove smear “ Nuts and Sluts “ campaign here ?

You have fallen for the SMEAR campaign that Rove apparently cooked up after O’ Donnell told him she would not go away so he with the GOP elites created a smear campaign.

At least the GOP insiders know that their power is gone. If they want to maintain their insider status they need to stop annointing RINOs. A properly vetted conservative could've had a shot. They've got nobody to blame but themselves.

Exactly!! We ‘re doing a pretty good job picking them off one by one so far...win big in November with Angle, O’Donnel, Miller and Rand and they’ll get the idea!

Same here. Watching him on Hannity last night was such an eye opener. Aside from being spiteful, his comments were shockingly stupid from a political standpoint--if you presume he wishes conservatives to prevail. I'm not so sure now.

true enough that Delaware’s small but it’s in a very expensive media market. Most of the state is covered by Philadelphia and advertising costs are going to be big...even more reason to send her our money!

The GOP had a chance to pick a person who is conservative and the TP would have supported them. They chose a Lib NOT moderate and lost. If they did not like Christine they had a chance for a different pick that was conservative. But still went for the Lib. This is showing the GOP that we will only support Conservative people period!

Nope, my money will. Sorry for the quipped rant at you but we have been going through this same crapola since the Florida Primary and well before that with the NRSC picking Crist over Rubio. I see you were accepting of a long range strategy and that is what all conservatives (do I now have to say True Conservatives) must be looking towards.

There are 19 Democrat Seantors up next time in addition to 10 Pubbies. 9 of the 10 have voted with the dems on critical issues in the past. The one who holds any kind of a light for conservatism couldn’t keep away from playing with his staffers.

Sorry karl...you said it.
You meant it.
You were almost nasty about it.
You talked over Sean (I expect that of Sean but not you)
You had an ugly demeanor about you and it showed on your face
You were mean and nasty
You stepped over the line
You really showed the “real you.”
So, any comments or apologies are too little too late at least for this voter.
Go away now and find something constructive to do with your life.
We’re done!

The ESTABLISHMENT crowd needs to go or at least a good portion of them do. bring on the Young Guns and let’s get this country back on track preserving our freedoms, following the rule of law and back to common sense.

Congratulations Ms. O’Donnell...don’t waste words on rove...just get on with your plans and your campaign and make it GOOD!!!

What bothers me most is that Rove’s comments came AFTER the primary results were in. That was/ this is the time to CEASE intra-party squabbling and unify. “She sucks and we’re going to lose the seeeeeeeeeat” isn’t a unifying message.

At the very least, Rove should know that if he cannot say something good about O’Donnell, he should STFU.

Not watching him, fortunately for my blood pressure. Here is what I have to say, based on what I am hearing.

Look, I don’t have a problem with folks, including many VERY conservative folks, who backed Castle as a strategic move (Delaware is a very blue state) or based on O’Donnell’s personal shortcomings (she has some; plus, she polls about 20 points behind even the loony-left Coons). I really don’t. I might have been one of those folks if I were in DE and thus “closer to the situation.”

BUT.

Once the primary is over, you don’t snipe at the winner. Ideally, you get behind her. (John Cornyn and NRSC belatedly seem to have gotten this point.) At WORST, you STFU. It would be nice if the “Architect” at least understood that last part.

Rove’s on FOX right now, once again launching into an assault on O’Donnell’s past that has nothing to do with her campaign or the issues. He’s smearing her reputation based on a her past taxes and the fact that her house was in foreclosure. More and more Rove is starting to sound like just another garden-variety msm liberal spin-meister ala Mat Lauer or Fat Ed. What a shame.

Just reported that Romney is endorsing O’Donnell

Romney also endorsed McCain, and then Palin, publicly in 2008. Then his minions went to work on the McCain campaign, sabotaging the Republican ticket from within, and trying to destroy Sarah Palin.

I would suggest thanking him for the endorsement, but keep him and his people at a great distance from the O'Donnell campaign.
