NRSC, shame on you! Support Christine O’Donnell!
Big Bureaucracy ^ | September 15th, 2010 | Ellie Velinska

Posted on 09/15/2010 7:01:11 AM PDT by Big Bureaucracy

The National Republican Senatorial Committee refused to fund the Tea Party darling in Delaware Christine O’Donnell, who kicked out of office the establishment Republican Castle in the state primary yesterday.

This was the ugliest decision the Republican elite could have made.

When folks donate to the NRSC they expect them to fight for every senatorial candidate. They should not discriminate between the glamorous former CEO lady and the woman who struggled through home foreclosure.

People expect the NRSC to support all senatorial candidates that folks moved forward in legitimate Republican primaries. It is not the Republican’s elite who decides who is worthy to be Senator and who is not – it is the voters in the primaries.

It doesn’t matter if it is O’Donnell, Alvin Green, Charley Wrangle or Barack Obama: it is voters who have a say, not some politburo.

The Republicans fight united for the tax-cuts for the rich, but the Republican elite would not support their senatorial candidate because she experienced how it feels to get bankrupt paying for college education. She knows how it feels to default on mortgage. But the NRSC is only supporting fancy-shmancy Castle-like candidates?

The people in Delaware have spoken. All year long we hear the Republicans lecture us on state rights and power to the local communities. It is time for the Republican elite to walk the walk shoulder to shoulder with Christine O’Donnell because ‘we the people’ said so.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee refuses to support not just O’Donnel but all the thousands of folks that voted for her hoping she will represent them in Congress. The NRSC is betraying the republican primary voters in Delaware. Shame on you!

I hope that while I am writing this post the NRSC is reversing their decision.

I try and give the GOP the benefit of the doubt but this really stinks!! I would rather a rat have the seat than a Spector,Scuzzy or Graham etc. These people just give the rats and odumbo “bipartisan” coverage

NSRC, pompous, arrogant ruling class attitudes that keep me from accepting the Republican label.

I been a loyal GOPer my whole life. Watching the RNC drones trash talk their own nominee yesterday ended that.

Now is the time for the Conservative movement to drain the GOP swamp. We can start by getting off our butts, and opening our wallets, to make sure O'Donnell wins in Nov.

John Cornyn is an unmitigated disaster as NRSC head. He is also a huge disappointment as a Senator. He needs to go in his next election, which unfortunately, is not until 2014.

Contact the NRSC and tell them that they will not get another red cent until they get right with us. We are free to support anybody that we choose and cut them out of the loop, which is probably the better route, anyway.

The GOP blew it with Doug Hoffman. I sent him money and stiffed the GOP.
The GOP is blowing it with O'Donnell. I sent her money and stiffed the GOP.

GOP = Whigs.

Frepers, SHAME ON YOU!!!!!! Support Christine O’Donnell.

Christine has at least a thousand freepers supporting her, right? I’ve read all the posts, you are motivated, you are excited, you hated Castle, you loved O’Donnell.

She’s running a $200,000 fundraising effort. According to her website, she’s at 58 percent.

If all her Freeper supporters gave her the minimum $35 donation she is asking for, that would have already been 16% of the total; There’s no reason we can’t get her to $200,000 in the next few hours.

So those of you who haven’t donated yet (I donated last night when she first put up the page with a $50,000 target), now’s the time to take a break from the congratulatory and gloating posting, and send her some money. the NRSC has better places to spend their money (and we want to win all those seats, so more power to them), let’s show them that we will support the “whacko” candidates choose with our money in addition to our votes.

Even if decisions are made on allocating assets, only an absolute fool or a contemptible traitor would announce on the night of her victory, that she will receive no support.

That was the real sound of the spoiled child throwing a tantrum.

The ONLY proper statement was “As the nominee, of course she will now receive our support”.

The moron who said otherwise gave the dems ammunition against all of the “tea party” nominees.

It appears the battle lines are drawn.

On one side, are Democrats and Republicans.

On the other side, is the Tea Party -- the American people.

We’ve all been stiffing the NRSC for a while now, so I’m not surprised they don’t have the money to spend on her race. Wasn’t that the whole point of the “not one thin dime” movement? To make it meaningless who the NRSC will fund, since we kept OUR money to send in directly to candidates?

Seriously, conservatives can’t defund the NRSC and RNC, and then get upset when they don’t send their scarce dollars to support our candidates that they think can’t win. We told them we were going to support our own candidates, now they are holding us to our word.

“NRCS revealed its true colors...”

Between Rove last night and now this - what a bunch of elitist crybabies.

Hey RINO’s - the ice is melting right underneath your feet.

The GOP thought they could they could co-opt the Tea Party movement. The TP would be their “useful idiots”. Think again my friends. Their boy Loser Lazio lost here in NY also.

Up to 60% on her $200,000 fundraiser. Let’s make it $300,000.

To: All the Tea Party activists:

A well done for outstanding efforts. RINOs are on the run. The Washington insider Republican party who gave us McCain is in eclipse. You don’t know your own strength!
