I Hate Republicans--A Disgusting Fit of Pique
Creative Minority Report ^ | 9/14/2010 | Patrick Archibold

Posted on 09/15/2010 5:33:01 AM PDT by markomalley

This is a disgusting fit of pique by the same crowd that handed super majorities to the Democrats in the first place.

Foxnews is reporting that the NRSC is refusing to back Christine O'Donnell in the general election even though she is the clear choice of Delaware Republicans.

Party fractures on full display, Republican aides told Fox News Tuesday that O'Donnell would not be getting national fundraising support. State party leaders had warned that O'Donnell cannot compete against Democrat Chris Coons and vigorously backed Castle, a nine-term congressman and former governor.
This, more than a reflection on the O'Donnell campaign, shows the very real disdain that establishment Republicans have for us unwashed--tea-partiers and conservatives. I was ambivalent about the O'Donnell campaign before, now I want her to win in the worst way.

The establishment Republican party, maybe even more than the Democrat party, is one of the main obstacles to real reform in Washington. The American people are demanding reform but the establishment doesn't care. They want to shut out real conservatives where they can and co-opt them where they succeed.

Many people think that 2010 is another 1994. I hope not. I don't want another Republican takeover until conservatives have successfully taken over the Republican party. This is the message that the rank and file sent in Delaware tonight, this is why they sent the progressive RINO Castle packing. But they still don't get the message.

I don't know if O'Donnell is a good candidate or not. But at this point, I don't care. I want her to win. Scratch that--I want the Republican establishment to lose.

I am tired of Republican lip service and betrayals. I want a purge. I want a witch-hunt. I want them all gone. Every last one of them. I want litmus tests. I want lots of litmus tests. I want to fold the big tent. I want to burn the big tent. I want conservatives darn it!!

Interesting question the blogger alludes to -- which would be worse: RINOs running the show or Dhims?

While most of the worst abuses would be avoided (I think) under RINO leadership, they would, as we saw in the late 90s and early 00s, still end up being utterly compromised. And if we complain, the response would be, "what's your complaint? your people are in charge."

Given a choice between a RINO and a Democrat, I would vote Democrat. Seriously.

If we're going down into destruction, I want the correct party to be blamed. RINOs work for the Left -- let the Left take the credit.

Rush raised a better question yesterday. If you can't elect a Conservative now, in this political climate, when can you elect a Conservative?

It is patently obvious that the Republican machine is scared....and that is a good thing!

This is true but it's a very dangerous truth.

If our reaction to this truth is "let's take back the GOP", then it's a good truth.

If our reaction to this truth is "let's form a 3rd party", then we are all dead, all in chains, all slaves to Imamobama The Great.

I haven’t really followed the Delaware race. Why is the Republican establishment so anti-O’Donnell?

This is why I stopped giving money to the national committees a long time ago. They’re elite in their own mind and not listening to the grass roots. In this day and age, direct donation to individual candidates is simplicity itself. The national organizations better wise up fast and realize any power they have derives from the people. A little respect for the boss is in order.

Yes, interesting question. In many ways, 1994 set us back a long ways. About the only thing we ended up accomplishing was the salvation of the Clinton administration.

I do know that we must not, can not afford to lose the opportunity we have now. The ruling class elites on both sides of the aisle must go.

These people have done their own bidding over the past several decades, ignoring the bidding of those who placed them in office. Now they’re upset that those same people are fed up with their petulant arrogance, and would rather see the duly elected candidate lose than support her for a possible win.

Enough! They should look in the mirror. They’d see the reason why the Tea Party has evolved, and why its star has risen. It’s not just that the Democrats want to change America forever, it’s that these people will go along for the ride. BS.

I completely agree, we need to take back the Republican Party.

This is not a battle that will end this year. We need to get all the conservative candidates in this year - and continue every year thereafter. Some of the top RINOs in the party will not fall all at once or easily.

Why is the Republican establishment so anti-O’Donnell?

Because they don't own her. That's essentially it.

We need to disinfect the funding aparatuses of John Cornhole and Michael Steal. They are enemies within, actively assisting not just RINOs in GOP primaries, but now Democrats in general elections, too.

They have gone way, way too far this time.

A big Amen. The country-club Pubbie establishment types believe in “rule or ruin.” Their savage treasonous attacks on Goldwater in 1964 contributed greatly to the magnitude of his defeat. They rallied around G.H.W. Bush in an attempt to stop Reagan in 1980, and Reagan made his biggest mistake in picking Bush as his running mate in a conciliatory gesture. These arrogant elitists are happy to be part of the Washington permanent ruling caste, just like the Demonrats to whom they “reach out across the aisle.” They must be eliminated, once and for all. The Republican Party deserves to die unless it can be quickly converted into a constitutional limited government party.

RINOs are worse because they lie. RATS are honest about their quest to destroy America.

Ok, I admit that I don’t know much about Christine O’Donnell. What is it that makes the Republican establishment so concerned about her honesty and character?

It is obvious, they want candidates that were born by immaculate conception! Candidates that have never made a mistake in their lives! Candidates that are “like us”! HAR-HAR-HAR!

By the way, “thermal-seeking” moments have been my second most pleasurable experiences.

Cause Castle was a good ole' boy establishment insider of the highest order, despite his liberal voting record.
