Accuracy in Academia is featuring a true patriot and accomplished writer at its Constitution Day authors night.
Allie Duzett is the author of How To Save America: A Tactical Guide For Practical Patriots. We must devote the time it takes on a personal level to fully understand our Founding Fathers intent, she writes. It is appropriate for us all to be experts on Constitutional intent.
We must invest our time to understand our founding documents, including not just the Constitution, but also the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, and the writings of all our Founding Fathers.
We must learn their philosophies; we must study what they did and how they did it. We cannot expect to get things right now unless we understand how they were made right the first time.
Duzett is also a graduate of the American Journalism Center, a training program run by Accuracy in Media and Accuracy in Academia. She has recently rejoined AIM as a staffer.
Copies of Ms. Duzetts book will be available at the meeting:
September 16, 2010
6-8 PM
Armands on Capitol Hill
226 Massachusetts Ave., NE
Washington, D. C. 20002
The event is free but we do need a head count of RSVPs. RSVP to Elizabeth.Jenkins@aim.org. (Accuracy in Academia is a proud co-sponsor of the We Read The Constitution readings that will take place on September 18, 2010 sponsored by Let Freedom Ring!)
The September authors night, and all of the others in Accuracy in Academias Conservative University lecture series, is made possible by a generous grant from the Fusco Foundation.
Malcolm A. Kline is the Executive Director of Accuracy in Academia.
