I can’t stand Letterman for his jab at the Palin’s, but this is good because is it now official permission for the sophisticated people to start making fun of Obama.

Regardless that we might not like it shows like Letterman, Leno and The Daily Show have a big impact on peoples perceptions of federal candidates. Indeed I believe their impact is far bigger than that of mainstream journalist.
Of course, that’s actually 6 vacations since January—not in 18 months in office.
Gotta say, It is fun to watch when they eat their own.

Correct, because this is how BO's voting base is reached. It's probably the only time these people think about politics at all.

Too many people are under believe (wrongly) that the electorate is a well-educated, well-informed sophisticated group of people - it isn't, they aren't. The late-night chat show fellows, other media outlets (like Today & GMA) have a HUGE impact on public opinion.
Actually, I'm surprised Obama's approval numbers are a low as they are, given the 19-month long "wet, sloppy kiss" these shows have been giving Obama. If they were as tough on Obama as they were on Bush, Obama might also find himself in the low 30s.
I had to take the batteries out of my bullsh*t detector while watching the news; it was driving my cats nuts...
The MSM can longer brainwash us...and just finding out that ACORN/MOVEON are funding the push for Net Neutrality legislation...this will surely fall as well.
That should set Obama straight!
I don’t know what to make of the liberals making fun of, and mocking their god Obama, but, I don’t believe it for a minute and I am not going to be allowed to be fooled by them either.
