Worth repeating.

Too many people are under believe (wrongly) that the electorate is a well-educated, well-informed sophisticated group of people - it isn't, they aren't. The late-night chat show fellows, other media outlets (like Today & GMA) have a HUGE impact on public opinion.

Actually, I'm surprised Obama's approval numbers are a low as they are, given the 19-month long "wet, sloppy kiss" these shows have been giving Obama. If they were as tough on Obama as they were on Bush, Obama might also find himself in the low 30s.

I can only surmise that the people who believed Obama would pay their mortgage and car payments are now facing he bitter reality that they still have to get up for work in the morning.
