Obama Still Blames Bush For The Economy…A Year After Claiming The Economy Was His

Everyone remember this Obama doozy from a year ago? (h/t Gateway Pundit)

Now, my administration has a job to do, as well, and that job is to get this economy back on its feet. That's my job. (Applause.) And it's a job I gladly accept. I love these folks who helped get us in this mess and then suddenly say, well, this is Obama's economy. That's fine. Give it to me. (Applause.) My job is to solve problems, not to stand on the sidelines and harp and gripe. (Applause.)

The AP:

With four simple words — "Give it to me!" — President Barack Obama took possession of the economy.

For months, the White House and Obama's economic team have laid the economic crisis at the feet of President George W. Bush. But there comes a point in a presidency when inheritance becomes ownership. Obama made that pivot Tuesday in Michigan, the state suffering the worst unemployment in the nation.

He most definitely has taken possession of this economy. But the "pivot" point was just a figment of our imagination seeing as how he is STILL blaming everyone else for the economy:

Throughout this year, Obama has blamed Bush and the criticism has intensified this month.

On Aug. 9 in Bush’s home state of Texas, Obama said the ex-president’s “disastrous” policies had damaged the economy, noting that Bush inherited budget surpluses and ended his time in the White House with a budget deficit.

During a fundraiser with Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) in Seattle this week, Obama said, “Eighteen months ago I took office after nearly a decade of economic policies that had given us sluggish growth, sluggish job growth, falling incomes, falling wages and a record deficit.”

Over a year and half after taking office, and a year in which he supposedly took possession of this economy, he is still blaming Bush. Take a look below, paying special attention to the time period after July 2009 (the date he said "give it to me"..26 seconds in) up to the present day.

Whose fault is this?

He and his party have control of both houses, he has run this economy into the ground, and he has the audacity to blame Bush?

Obama is the political version of the boy who has father issues he never gets over, and spends his whole life blaming all his flaws on his irresponsible dad. Such a son thinks it’s the ultimate Get Out of Jail Free card for all responsibilities, but it only indicates his own lack of responsibility toward his own life.

Similarly, he keeps blaming Bush for everything because he is of a generation that thinks having someone to blame excuses everything. He seems to think that all previous presidents were handed a perfect world when they entered the White House.

You just described virtually every radical in the 1960's. In California and elsewhere there were psychotherapists who specialized in treating these spoiled brats, from Daniel Ellsberg to Tom Hayden to members of the Chicago Seven. Personality disorders every one.

Apparently, his Columbia and Harvard years did not include a reading of Adam Smith's 1775 "An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations."

That treatise, combined with an deep understanding of the ideas and philosophy of the 1776 Declaration of Independence and 1787 Constitution of the United States of America might have provided him with enough understanding to carry out the "job" he accepted in January 2009.

Reading Mao, Marx and Lenin do not prepare any head of state for creating an environment where opportunity, wealth creation, and prosperity can thrive.

Mao, Marx and Lenin only prepare one for accumulating enough power in a political elite to allow that elite to "redistribute" the wealth created by others and to enslave citizens in a climate of declining prosperity and freedom for individuals.

Aw, yes, those horrible Bush years when unemployment was below 5%, jobs were plentiful, tax rates were low, and the economy was humming along - despite the deficit.

According to Mark Levin, GWB said he had to pass legislation to get his military budget because the DEMS hate the military, as we know.

I wish those who hate our military could opt out of their protection. That would teach them a thing or two!

...international embarrassment

but then again how do you expect a marxist to run a conservative game called economy? no wait, how can a marxist drive a car designed, manufactured, and suited for capitalists?

can fish leave water, get up and walk on dry land?

Global prosperity has been dependent on the leadership from the US of A. Now there is a huge void. Actually, there is something worse. Someone who wants to intentionally destroy the US and global economy.
