The Dumb & Dumber of Democrats!

Oh, good grief!! This little piece of news gave me a nice laugh this morning. Two California Democrat candidates, Mike Benoit and Ray Lutz, have decided to starve themselves until Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) agrees to a debate with them!

Politico reports:

“My hope is that he holds out and doesn’t expire before October because that’s when we’re going to debate him, and we’ve told him that several times,” said Dave Gilliard, a spokesman for Hunter.

So far, Lutz has had a rough ride: He’s missed 17 meals, lost 14 pounds, taken an enema to avoid toxic shock, talked to a doctor who recommended a salt-water purge, given up exercise and is so tired he has resorted to napping during the day…"

Excuse me, while I wipe the tears of laughter from my eyes! Hunter has agreed to debate them in October, but that schedule doesn’t seem to work with Lutz and he wants it done sooner.

Only in California will you find these kinds of dramatics. Forget the block walking, the phone banks and getting off your sofa to meet your prospective voters— I would rather throw a tantrum and starve myself! Just what we need…more nutters in Washington!

By the way, Politico also reports, “Lutz is an electrical engineer who owns Cognisys, a company that sells electronics to psychologists and other professionals to help treat mental illnesses.” Ha! Fitting since liberalism has already been proven to be a mental disorder and what better proof than these whackos.

How to get elected: “He’s missed 17 meals, lost 14 pounds, taken an enema to avoid toxic shock, talked to a doctor who recommended a salt-water purge, given up exercise and is so tired he has resorted to napping during the day…” We are talking Deep Idiot here. Note to politicians: if you are starving yourself in a vain attempt to move forward the date of a debate, don’t announce the part about the enema. It puts people off. It falls into the category of Too Much Information. And it runs the serious risk of you forever being known as “E” guy.

Insanity is indeed fashionable these days when the Party of Whine and Sleaze not only has a monopoly on power, but also on the media...attempting to make craziness appear to be the new “normal”.

These are the sort of ‘outside-of-the-box’ problem solvers we need in elected office.
