The defense is clearly desperate for publicity. They want to try this case on CNN. But, the Washington press corps is not going to want to drive all the way up to Ft. Meade on I-95, so I don’t think that this plan is going to work.

So let me see if I understand you.

The PROSECUTION threatens physical violence...

...and your first thought is the DEFENSE is pulling a publicity stunt.

That may well be the most despicable thing I have ever read on FR.

FR has a lot of latrine keyboard commandos who hate LTC Lakin.

Hey you dips**ts who did KP duty - you lost your country in Nov 2008 in coup.

Lakin actually has the intellect to ead The Constitution. Go back to guarding the sh**ter.

The usurper is a Saudi agent who’s job is to get as many American soldiers killed as possible to th eentertainment of his boss the Saudi king. Shut off the TV and the ball games retards and wake the **** up.

Desperate? Wrong word. Getting publicity is a normal part of this type of case. SOP. Standard operating procedure.

Tell me though — if they taze Lakin, restrain him and toss him in the van, do you think CNN would cover it?

And then if they busted his head and a few ribs, would CNN cover it then?

Or maybe if they tossed him out of the van and ran back and forth over him a few times — would CNN cover it?

Hmm, you might want to rephrase that one and be sure to put in the "/s" because some of the folks here have NO IDEA how far that post is from DC.

Of Note: Bet that prosecutor wouldn't dare say that about Pvt.Bradley Manning or Julian Assange, both undoubtedly among Obama's closet circle. (/s)

The defense needs to use everything at their disposal since due process and fairness barely exist in these military trials.
Does anyone seriously think Hussein is going to let this true American look bad in court?
