Tonight’s primary elections (Terrible news for the Wee Wee and the Rats alert)
Washington Examiner ^ | August 4, 2010 | David Freddoso

Tonight’s biggest election blowout is not about any candidate, unless you want to count President Obama. In Missouri, 71 percent of the voters are backing a referendum requiring to state to protect its citizens from Obamacare’s requirement that they purchase health insurance. This is very bad news for a White House that is still desperately trying to sell its health care bill retrospectively ahead of November, when the Show Me State will feature an important Senate race between Rep. Roy Blunt, R, and Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, D.

In neighboring Kansas, Reps. Jerry Moran and Todd Tiahrt are in a dogfight for the GOP nomination for Sam Brownback’s empty Senate seat. Fewer than 4,000 votes separate the two right now with more than two-thirds reporting.

In Michigan, the race for governor was not nearly as close as expected.

In Kansas, Moran squeaks out victory over Tiahrt

As the two veteran congressmen lashed out in a battle to show who was the most conservative, Moran and Tiahrt didn’t look that much different politically. They both have followed traditional Republican lines such as lower taxes and less government.

Moran and Tiahrt have both received rock star ratings from conservative groups.

Moran has an “A” grade from the National Rifle Association; Tiahrt’s score is “A+.” Neither has ever broken with the National Right to Life Committee on abortion votes while in Congress. Moran’s lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union is almost 92-percent; Tiahrt’s is 95-percent.

It also appears that the Republicans showed up in force, here in Missouri, with a 5 to 3 ratio.

If that ratio holds during the November elections, it’s going to be a Bay of Libs type slaughter for the Commie DemonRats.

Cheers

Lord help me, but I cannot stop thinking of Rush’s parody of Andy Griffith pimping Obamacare, “Just be a good cracker. A goooood cracker.”

I nearly peed my pants. :^D

71% of Americans have IQ’s above 91.

71% of Missouri voters voted against Obamacare.

Coincidence? I think not.

This vote is just devastating to the entire Rat Party.

All of the spin that had been coming from every Dim strategist was that the polls were all wrong. The public was completely behind 0bamaCare.

WRONG! Now we have concrete evidence that shows the real feelings of Americans. They aren't buying a word of 0bozo's crap. Let's see them now try talking themselves out of a 71.1% rejection of their health care "reform".

This great result should make Rush especially entertaining on Wednesday.

While I am remiss to tune out on any news item whereby the 0Bummer is speaking and I can barely tolerate any picture of him, this picture of him I find surprisingly pleasant to look at.

To clarify, its because he appears to be having a sour moment!!

Everyone keep educating people the best you can. People are reading more, listening to talk radio, watching FOX and talking more. Am hoping for a 70/30 blowout on November 2nd! Let's send a Real Message to those who continue to subvert our Sacred Republic!

In 2008, Missouri was almost evenly split between obama and mclame. Took a long recount to sort it out.

Now, obamacare loses by 71% to 29%? MAJOR shift!

Hey obama, reid, and pelosi, CAN YOU HEAR US NOW?!

in the words of Mrs. 0, “...for the first time in my life, I'm proud of my country..”

If MO can do it, so can the rest of the states.

Bummer has got a hard sell on his hands. November bodes to be the political equivalent of projectile vomiting. There is only so much Rat that can be stomached.

“The next press conference Gibbs is going to be busier than a cat on a tin roof trying to cover up crap.”

They'll do the expected and blame ‘disinformation’ by the Republicans. They'll claim that if those >71% of voters that rejected Obamacare knew what was really in the bill, they would support it. Totally ridiculous and untrue, but this is the spin they will likely use.
