The United States President will spend four days of his holiday in the town with his family during August
The President of the United States, Barack Obama, his wife Michelle, and their daughters Malia and Sasha, will spend part of their summer holidays in Marbella.
In what will be his first visit to Spain as President, he will stay from August 4 – 8 in the luxury Villapadierna Hotel.
Before returning to the United States, Obama will travel to the Marivent Palace on Mallorca to meet with King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia. He’s also expected to meet with the Spanish Prime Minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, at some point.
Government sources quoted by El Mundo, while failing to confirm the news, said if it were to happen it would be a ‘clear demonstration of the excellent relations currently between Spain and the United States'.
It’s just one after another - “In your face America” with this conman.
White House has issued a statement saying this report is not true.
We’ll see.
Certainly we can expect the LSM will lamblast BHO for taking so many and expensive vacations in this time of economic recession. —crickets——
They have three golf courses, and one of the restaurants serves arugula!

And just thinbk of how many rooms they will need for the hundreds of people that have to be there with them....I demand to know what this is costing us tax payers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wonder how many ‘relatives’ will enjoy this one with them? H*ll, we haven’t taken a real vacation since 1988. (Few days here, a few days there, but not a real vacation because of other responsibilities!) Must be nice!

Spain needs to be careful. They’ve had to run muslims out before.
Hopefully, Rush, Mark, Sean, Glen will take up the cause and get the costs of all these vacations - it will be staggering!
We pay the bills - every penny spent for these vacations should be made known to us.
Spain must be for September or December - not August.
Here I thought it was a gesture by Spain to try to improve their image in the Muslim world (after the expulsion of the Moors).
First it was August vacation on the GoM. Then it was one day there and vacation in Maine. Now another four days in Spain? Lazy POS.
The Left is comparing Obama and Bush time off saying that Bush had taken over 90 days vacation to Obama’s 30+ at the 18mo mark.
So they are comparing Barry’s extensive golfing, eating out, playing with his kids and listening to Michelle whine, while jetting all over hell and creation, to President Bush going to Camp David or the ranch in Crawford.
I think Barry and the Klingon have already wore out AF-1 and are now working on AF-2.
The last time I was in Marbella, the beaches were nowhere near the quality of Gulf beaches. Things may have changed though, since Franco was still alive then.

Hopefully he’ll be able to land a job in Spain’s vibrant green economy.

Then he must be there to demand a bailout.
He has his Czars - and has no work ethic. Never had to be responsible for anything in his life - all handed to him. What isn’t handed to him, he takes. However, he still must pay the consequences someday because there is no free ride for anyone. I’ll take responsibility over consequences any day.
A scenario - Having a child who we are responsible for and he/she is in dire need - we not only ignore their needs but take from them. Wouldn’t want to live with that!
