From a remote location on an island off Alaska’s coast, former Governor Sarah Palin is blasting what she describes as the “sick puppies” in the media who immediately and ruthlessly attacked her when Sen. John McCain picked her as his running mate during the 2008 presidential campaign.
In exclusive remarks to The Daily Caller, Palin described “hordes of Obama’s opposition researchers-slash ‘reporters’” descending upon Alaska in the days after she was picked by McCain.
She said the media became a key reason she decided not to finish out her term as governor and faults, in part, the McCain campaign for failing to vigorously defend her.

It was funny because today she was being interviewed by Bob and Mark in Alaska and they asked her if she decides to run for President, will she have McCain as her VP, and she said “Maybe it will show him what’s its like being UNDER the bus then IN the bus” it pretty much said what she thought of the entire campaign right there

Sarah Palin is clearly a lot wiser and far more politically savvy now than two years ago when she stepped on the national stage relatively unprepared for the onslaught against her led by the leftwing media (98% of all media). The fact that the media is still obsessed with Palin while she draws huge crowds whenever she appears and has Fox News as a vehice to express herself without being mocked or shouted down demonstrates Palin's growing understanding of how to deal with the left.

Well, nmh, I’ll say this: A run in 2012 actually does look less and less likely to me with each passing day. Sarah is starting to sound more and more like someone who realizes that she has more important work to do than running for office in a corrupt electoral process governed by a totally compromised and biased media. I would vote for her in a heartbeat, but I actually do relish the idea that she might have decided to stay outside of the whole sorry presidential process.

Your comment conveys a totally negative bias. She did not remove herself form the media target by resigning as Gov. She removed Alaska from being the innocent victim of the media attacks. Sun Tsu points out the importance of choosing the battlefield. Removing Alaska from the from the battle was a tactically brilliant move. Freed from the necessity of protecting an innocent Alaska, she has taken the media on and is winning the battle.
Now Johnny is trying to look conservative and he needs SP. She needs to distance herself from this loser ASAP.
For the pseudo-intellectuals like nmh, I’ll explain again and very slowly so they may be able to comprehend.
1. The phony ethic charges had cost the State (i.e. taxpayers) > $2 Million
2. The phony ethic charges had cost the Palin family > $500k
3. Sarah’s salary was ~ $100k
4. Do the math - far better to step down, reload and attack without the phony ethic charges designed to bankrupt the Palins.
