The Lansing State Journal reported last week that the federal stimulus has been working.
The White House projects the spending act created or saved between 2.5 and 3.6 million jobs.
Experts at some limited government public policy think tanks give their opinions of the White House report.

Of course the stimulus is a failure. Since it has been passed we have lost 3 million more jobs. If that is success, what does failure look like?
'Jobs saved' is impossible to measure. We can point out that the White House predicted that even without the stimulus unemployment would peak at 9 percent. And with the stimulus it would top out at 8 percent. We did the stimulus and it hit 10 percent...

The media has simulated a recovery in order to indicate that Obama's stimulus package actually did something good.

I don’t want filthy stolen tax dollars given to Michigan. I want us to keep our own tax dollars and learn to live within our means.
We have been often simulated, never equaled.
The stimulus is like driving by and throwing candy out the window to starving children. Great for some momentary diversion but no long term impact on the problem. Except in this case the candy was confiscated from the local factory, which subsequently shut down and put it’s employees out of work.
No business is going to do anything long term without an environment that’s going to allow it to operate profitably. It’s not going to even get off the ground if the govt is sucking up massive amounts of capital that could go to investment.
Wait until after Megyn Kelly comes on today and crushes Leftists like an angry Valkyrie and I’ll let you know.
