Not only did members of the Journolist list-serve try to downplay the significance of the Rev. Wright story to help the Obama Campaign, it is now clear that members also advocated to shut down Fox News to silence opposition to their liberal cause.

The MSM’s leftist agenda has been exposed over and over and over again.
The story had strengthening legs for the last few years — it is now getting teeth.

The saddest part of this, to me anyhow, is that they have been so brainwashed by their leftist ideology that the do not even realize how deeply and utterly betrayed their most sacred trust.
Yes, I am sad, but I have nothing but contempt for these cretins.

It’s sick isn’t it? Journalists openly coordinating activism and hating on someone who comments. It’s insane.

"The democratization of the media is a good thing. We now face competition from all quarters - including from people who have specialized expertise that journalists lack. We ought to welcome the new participants in the game and learn from them. They should do the same with us. Theres an old boast in the business - that the job of a journalist is to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. The thing is, we never realized that we were becoming The Comfortable - with good pay, job security, and access to movers and shakers all around the world. We need to cast off our coziness, venture away from safe stories and presumptions and into the wilderness of new topics, new ideas and new sources of information. In that quest lies the possibility of fulfillment and joy - and the hope of keeping alive the text and the spirit of the First Amendment."~ Tony Snow ~

In May 70-May 72 the Army, Chief Infantry Branch, sent my sad self to college with salary, tuition, books, expenses, etc.
My first two courses were Mass Communication/ World Comm and Econ 201. Now that journalism course along with 4 more such courses I took were full of the most whacked out students/people I ever knew. I can tell you they were some strange folks. Ironically, the prof was not a real lib.One of the youngsters in the course was the son of “Flyod Kalber.” The son was not impressive, but; his father was a legend.
My point is the classes were full of far left types.

"I am genuinely scared" of Fox, wrote Guardian columnist Daniel Davies, because it ? "shows you that a genuinely shameless and unethical media organisation *cannot* be controlled by any form of peer pressure or self-regulation, and nor can it be successfully cold-shouldered or ostracised. In order to have even a semblance of control, you need a tough legal framework." Davies, a Brit, frequently argued the United States needed stricter libel laws.Hey Davies, you azz, ever hear of the First Amendment? How about the term "projection"? "Hypocrit"? Or maybe "fascist" or "Nazi"? Scumbag...
