The depth of depravity into which this administration seeks to drive us is difficult to fathom. Obama and the Democrat party truly are the enemy within...
The naive and self absorbed will not be bothered to understand what is happening. Those who consider themselves enlightened and liberal are outraged that anyone could consider the possibility of an enemy president. They can allow for the stupidity of Bush. They are incapable of believing that Obama is dangerous.
The black community has been played to their very core (corpse). How are they to be expected to believe their shining son is the willing bearer of all that is evil?
This terror has come upon us suddenly and, for most, without warning. Will we tolerate more corruption than we can overcome? Have we drifted so far into deep water that we do not have the strength to return to shore? Obama and his architects are betting we have become sufficiently corrupted that we are no longer able to save ourselves.
There is still a remnant in this country of proud, unyielding Americans who will never yield to corruption. They are members of the Tea Party and all it stands for. They came to DC 2 million strong and were ignored. They represent perhaps 20 million traditional Americans. Will their efforts be enough to turn back the tide that threatens to drown us? Is the spirit that gave us 1776 still burning in us or will that flame finally and forever be extinguished?
I ain’t dead yet.
... and the President has veto power.
“Will the GOP have the courage to play hard ball?”
Steele needs to go. Gingrich did very little with the mandate they got in 94.
Primaries need to be as important to us as the election. And spotting the RINOs in conservatives’ clothing.
>> Will the GOP have the courage to play hard ball?
You’re joking, right? They don’t have the courage to play hopscotch! Until they are willing to stand up to the Marxists and call them out for what they are, we don’t stand a chance.
I think the question is phrased incorrectly.
The question should be: Will the GOP have the integrity to play hard ball? Elimination of Soros funding being the primary prerequisite to integrity.
This means a vast majority of incumbents MUST BE turned out of office ASAP! IMHO
Undoing the damage will be difficult, particularly if the GOP only controls one house.
... and the President has veto power.
And the GOP never aims to do more than limit the rate of growth. Never eliminate anything.
Obama and the Democrat party truly are the enemy within.
The thing is, they aren't 'Democrats' any longer. They are all 'Progressives'. As true 'Democrats' have at last, all been purged. Zell Miller may have been the last 'Democrat'.
When Barry gives a speech he confirms this, he'll say: "To my 'Progressive' friends in Congress, and to the 'Republicans' across the aisle". He doesn't utter the word Democrat. It's always 'Progressive'.
And like with their hero Mao, the 'Progressives' had 'a long march' to power. IMHO, it started at the 1972 Democratic Convention. When the entire IL Delegation led by the 'real' Mayor Daley (all legally elected by the voters) were ousted on a a 'Credential Maneuver' and replaced by a bunch of Pinko-Commie 'Progressives', including the race hustler Jesse Jackson (other state delegations also got the boot).
To me that's the day the Democratic Party died.
Once the reform agenda stalled out, after the impeachment battle, they collapsed into logrolling and incumbency protection, which is Congess' default mode, regardless of party. That is when the problems arose.
Looking back, I don't know that there was any way to beat Bill Clinton in '96, which would have removed the veto and allowed reform to continue. But in retrospect, Bob Dole was a terrible choice. And I say that as a longtime admirer of Sen. Dole.
Fortunately, there are more conservative women running. They seem to have the courage it takes.
Too many times there are primaries like the one in my congressional district - between a candidate who will stand up to the good old boys and another who wants to be one of the good old boys. The one who wants to be one of the good old boys is backed by the local party and probably will win.
As further time goes on I think you should be able to determine the difference between "Progressives" and communists.
This is the central point of my note. We have been accepting of designed and deliberate corruption for several generations. The Communist party declared its plan to destroy the US in the 20’s. They have been amazingly successful.
In the name of multiculturalism, moral relativism and getting along, corruption has become acceptable. Can we return from the level of depravity that we find acceptable? That is the seminal question.
“cut taxes, balanced the federal budget, and reformed welfare”
That sure sounds nice. But the deficit rose massively on those years, so clearly the budget wasn’t balanced. And how much “reform” of welfare did they do? It’s in an awful state now, when did it get recked?
There are many things that need doing. And there was a republican congress and president for SIX years.
No, I’m sure these people are leading us a merry dance. Did you follow the whole NY23 issue closely, with Newt’s wholehearted backing of Scozzafava, who ended up backing the dem, and his halfhearted pathetic “support” of the conservative once she pulled out?
There is a system, a regime, that has been in place for too long, and we have NO reason to trust those people except that the TV tells us they’re conservative!
