Holder Sues Arizona; GOP Lawmaker = The Suit “Reflects The Height of Irresponsibility & Arrogance”

Everyone knew the Chicago gang of thugs were gonna pull this, so it's no surprise:

The U.S. Justice Department on Tuesday filed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Arizona's new law targeting illegal immigrants, setting the stage for a clash between the federal government and the state over the nation's toughest immigration crackdown.

The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Phoenix argues that Arizona's law requiring state and local police to question and possibly arrest illegal immigrants during the enforcement of other laws such as traffic violations usurps federal authority.

Gov Brewer:

"It is wrong that our own federal government is suing the people of Arizona for helping to enforce federal immigration law. As a direct result of failed and inconsistent federal enforcement, Arizona is under attack from violent Mexican drug and immigrant smuggling cartels," Brewer said in a written statement. "Now, Arizona is under attack in federal court from President Obama and his Department of Justice. Today's filing is nothing more than a massive waste of taxpayer funds."

From Facebook:

It is done. We've expected it for weeks, and now we have it. The DoJ has just filed suit, arguing that SB1070 "violates the supremacy clause of the Constitution". They will seek an injunction to delay the July 29th implementation date of the law. 1070 architect Kris Kobach says the suit is 100% political and will fail in court, as the law was "specifically crafted" to anticipate such a challenge. Regardless of the outcome, it is disgraceful that the Federal government, given stories such as Sheriff Babeau's below, is making Arizona the enemy, and defending the enemies of the rule of law.

This lawsuit will be thrown out the same what the offshore drilling ban lawsuit was. The DOJ is nothing more than a political apparatus for the Obama admin. The quality of the briefs would not even get the grade of “C” in law school.

The ironic thing being that Holder’s childhood neighborhood of East Elmhurst, for many decades a stronghold of the black bourgeoisie, is no filled to the rafters with illegals from Ecuador and other Latin American nations.

Stupid Marxist animals think they can just continue to vote themselves ever increasing amounts of our money and freedom and we’re just supposed to shut up and like it or else

They haven’t seen anything yet

Its not enough to vote out the marxists in swing districts and regain the majority, that will be the easy part.

It needs to be coupled with the destruction of the communist "Congressional Progressive Caucus" as an above ground legitimate organization.

Its members and supporters need to be exposed as reds, prosecuted and imprisoned where evidence of criminality is uncovered, and the organization itself driven back underground like in the 50's when the marxists met in secret to plot the communist revolution, not changed their names to "Progressives" and did it in our faces.

We should dress up in bellhop outfits with billy clubs and intimidate DoJ lawyers as they come into the courthouse.

In Holder’s world if you are a member of the New Black Panther Party you can resort to voter intimidation; but if you are a state attempting to uphold current immigration law you must be restrained.

"So if there are states that have the same laws as the federal government than why doesn’t the DOJ go after them as well?????"

Well, that's what I'm thinking too.

For instance, bank robbery, mail fraud, explosives...these are all covered by Federal law; does this now mean that states should not pursue and/or apprehend said criminals if their status is discovered in a routine traffice stop?

All the Arizona law is doing is saying that "we will not allow illegal immigrants in our state, if apprehended on a routine stop, they will be arrested and REFERRED TO ICE (A FEDERAL AGENCY) for follow-up, trial and/or prosecution.

Moreover, should Arizona and all "57" other states cease and desist from apprehending other criminals that fall under "Federal" jurisdiction. Sure is going to increase the workload of those G-men.

The obamatrons are trying to say that Arizona cannot pass a law that THEY don't agree with. The law does not interfere with Federal law, it compliments and improves it. And, the Constitution also says something like (paraphrasing)all laws/rights NOT enumerated in the Constitution are reserved to the states.

Of course, by the time the bribery, strong arming, and inciting of riots is over, Arizona will probably lose the case. But in protest all of the other states - at least the red states - should pass an identical bill soon.

The kenyan is having a hissy fit because Jan Brewer shined the light of shame upon him for NOT doing his job. The jerk is saying that he doesn't want anyone to DO that job, because he is cultivating new democrats to try and keep his sorry ass in the White House.

I don't know what the outcome will be, but it sure would be nice if obama and the feds lose their asses on this one.

It's okay to have such laws on the books, as long as you don't enforce them.

Obama and Holder both know there's nothing wrong with SB1070.
