VIDEO: Democrat County Supervisor Doesn’t Know Arizona Borders Mexico But Supports Boycott

Democrat County Supervisor Peggy West of the Milwaukee County Board vocally showcased her opposition to the Arizona immigration law and support of a boycott on the state.

Her reason for supporting such a measure is simple; if Arizona were a state like Texas, “a state that directly shares a border” with Mexico, she would then think twice about it. According to her, that’s not the case. Arizona is state “removed from the border.”

“If this was Texas, which is a state that directly on the border with Mexico, and they were calling for a measure like this, saying they have an issue with—you know– undocumented people, flooding their borders, I would say– I would have to look twice at this. But this is a state a ways removed from the border, and it doesn’t make sense to me that when you Google this subject, when you put in “Arizona SB 1070, that you see a picture of the governor of Arizona meeting with President Obama in May of 2010. If you have direct linkage to the president, there are already national guard troops in the border in Arizona”, West said in opposition to the law.

Another board member quickly intervened as those in attendance began whispering among themselves, amazed at the statement.

Classic ignorant Democrat to whom facts are an irrelevant nuisance, just following marching orders in typically zombie-like fashion.

Between this and the Atlanta’s Hank Johnson that is afraid that Guam will “tip over”, it’s pretty clear the dems are the real brain trust in this country./sarc

And to think the liberal “elite”, you know the REALLY intelligent, REALLY sophisticated, REALLY educated celebrity journalists that have been shaping our elections with their strategically selective dispensing of the ‘news’... actually push these people as the “way” forward.

When does the common sense revolution begin and we exit Wonderland?

Spectacularly ignorant, but to top it off, she's downright incoherent.

How could this possibly be? Aren't we told that all politicians are the best and brightest we have to offer?

She probably tried to buy some of Arizona’s ocean front.

Probably reacted belligerently, too, once she was informed of her mistake.

Raises “entitlement to your own facts” to a whole new level! I hope she is sufficiently humiliated to shut her pie hole, but that’s unlikely.

Yes, but if too many Mexicans stay in one part of the state, it might tip over ... so she has a point.

All you have to do is tell her it’s a really, really long beach.

FWIW, Brian Sussman on KSFO (SF Conservative Talker) has been having a field day with the audio of this. He played it at least three times in the hour I listened to him while getting ready for work this morning. Thank goodness I wasn’t drinking coffee at the time I heard it, or I’d be sending the station a bill to replace my monitor!

Even better, this ding-bat claims to be the first Hispanic elected to the Milwaukee County Board of Stupid-visors!

In my humble opinion, nothing can compare to that Dem. congresswoman who in committee asked NASA to move the camera on the Mars rover so she could see the flags left by the astronauts. Only problem? those flags were on the moon, not Mars. The response to her request? total silence, then a tepid explanation. So rich!

Where would we be without the highly educated, wildly intelligent progressives to think for us and provide all those things good for us?

How do people like this get past 4th grade???

And, the congressman who thought an island would tip over if too many people occupied it.
