Screw Mother Teresa - We Celebrate Communism

August 26, 2010 will have been Mother Teresa’s 100th birthday. To honor her birthday, the Catholic League, led by Bill Donahue, has put in a formal request to the building managers of the Empire State Building to light up the building in blue and white on August 26th. According to the Catholic League, Empire State Building officials denied the request.

In an of itself, that might not spark a lot of interest for most people. What is interesting and frankly, disgusting, is that Empire State Building officials happily honored the 60th Anniversary of the Chinese communist revolution, last September.

I realize that the title is directly from the source, but is there any chance we could show more decorum and respect for the subject and change the wording? It just doesn’t seen appropriate for this forum.

Is that a same sex couple who has adopted a underprivileged
child to rear in a “normal” home or what? What is that?

Ha! I love this photograph so much. I believe the sisters have a home in Chicago for women who are pregnant but need help to keep their babies.
