I keep wondering how long Congress is going to abdicate their authority and allow Obama to continue appointing unelected “czars” to create and execute public policy. Ok, rhetorical question. They don’t care as long as they keep getting elected and have to do nothing.

The other half of that is that a person who takes chasrge might be called to account for their actions. The BRAC process proves that Congress would rather hide behind a smokescreen than be counted on anything that matters.

He actually talks about life-or-death rationing. This is a step beyond cost effectiveness, unless the idea is to let expensive patients die. That’s cost effectiveness with a satanic twist.
You’re right. Congress can hide and say they had nothing to do with what is happening. However, since they are supposed to be the Legislative branch of government, that might not get them very far. Or at least we can hope so.
No matter. I just remember that the promise was that there would be no rationing at all. Remember, no one is supposed to pull the plug on Grandma.
Your comment implies that there are enough people in the country that would continually keep the Congresscriters’ feet to the fire. So far, I have seen little evidence of that. The public outrage about ObamaCare had no real effect, and was short-lived - just like Congress knew it would be. The Ruling Class knows us better than we know ourselves.
