Embracing Female Genital Mutilation

There is no limit to the depravity of the cultists who worship at the altar of multiculturalism.

100 to 140 million girls and women around the world have been subjected to genital mutilation. And now, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is embracing this barbaric expression of misogyny in the name of cultural sensitivity and immigrant outreach.

Equality Now is stunned by a new policy statement issued by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), which essentially promotes female genital mutilation (FGM) and advocates for “federal and state laws [to] enable pediatricians to reach out to families by offering a ‘ritual nick’,” such as pricking or minor incisions of girls’ clitorises.

Surely pediatricians sworn to do no harm wouldn’t advocate a medically unnecessary practice rooted firmly in hatred of women. Equality Now must have misread the AAP’s statement on FGM, right?

Wrong. According to the AAP:

Is it any wonder that normal people do not take the American Academy of Pediatrics seriously?

What is worse, having it nicked by a highly trained doctor in a sterile environment or having the whole thing cut off by some shaman in the back of a “Temple/Church/Storefront?”

If you wish to disallow the cosmetic nick, then does that mean you want to ban male circumcision?

You make that sound like the Liberal explanation/justification for abortion.

So, really, you had better shut your mouth ASAP because you reveal too much about yourself on this forum. (Some of us call people like you, TROLLS.)

Celebrating diversity and wondering which of their chosen ones gets to be Czar of Female Genital Mutilation in some new federal bureaucracy created to perform oversight.

Which of course doesn’t address my central point.

Imagine if there’s a Christian Sect in America who believes in cutting off the head of the penis. The whole knob. And they believe the only way to do it is with a rusty hacksaw. And they’ve been doing it for a hundred years. There’s high rates of child-mortality and serious infection. Should hospitals offer the parents a ritual circumcision in order to reduce the harm?

But there isn't.(Nice attempt at a strawman though)

There is however a "religion" that mutilates the women enslaved by it for no good purpose whatsoever.

Should we enable them to continue doing this or should we fix the problem and outlaw it entirely? Rather than enabling the attack why don't we track down and execute the attackers and solve the issue once and for all?

Enabling has cost us millions and millions dead to abortion already. Haven't we learned our lesson that some behaviors are just not tolerable?

United States
Federal law prohibiting FGC was enacted in 1996. 17 states enacted similar laws between 1994 and 2006.[99]

Circumcision is God-given - FGM is not. Oh wait...most don’t believe God anymore. Nevermind.

American Academy of Pediatrics is a leftist group who believe that children are state property. The same group which encourages doctors to ask intrusive questions about religious beliefs, homeschooling, and guns in the home (Only for Christians, mind you).

One should be careful who they choose as a pediatrician, as many, especially younger, pediatricians have the same mindset.

Perhaps we should also bend the rules on statutory rape and sexual exploitation of children so that we can be more sensitive to societies where girls as young as six are married to men old enough to be their grandfathers. Any doctor that would consent to a ritual nick of a young girls genitals should have their license revoked. I suppose this procedure will however be allowed and paid for under Obamacare.

One of the reasons Given for Male circumcision is to deprive
enjoyment of sexual relations.
