Jan Brewer has really stepped up..and she had to. She was NOT popular with Republicans until this month when she really let loose. First with the Open carry law (Which my friend, Nancy McClain co-sponsored) and then SB1070. She sealed her seat back. I know that the competition is totally deflated. However, when we go vote on the special tax next in 10 days, people will be reminded that a tax increase was her idea. HOWEVER, she did put it out to a vote by the people and I don’t think you can ever go wrong by doing that.

I’m voting No on 100. I think it’s time for the politicians to make some tough choices. I’m proud of Jan for standing up under pressure, but I think a tax increase now would be devestaing. Already in Phoenix we had a 2% sales tax put on food.
