I’m so sorry to read Jeff is in the hospital.

Prayers for Jeff’s well-being, as well as you and your family, and for succes in the surgeries.

I don’t know all the details on “Jeff Head” and his surgical problems.

But if pain management is a concern, (and I’d ask this for myself if
needed)...
get some DVDs from the Discovery/Animal Planet series of
“I Shouldn’t Be Alive”.

The story that aired last night (Friday 4-30-2010) about the British
ex-paratrooper that tried to climb the highest mountain in Romania
in mid-January...and dragged himself miles after suffering a crushed pelvis
(and the head of his left femur?) in order to survive temps as low
as five degs. F. and escape bears and wolves.....

...well, it might take a mind off one’s own challenges.

If not inspire one to overcome the current challenges and pain.

...just a naive and humble suggestion from someone that suffered a
spontaneous pneumothorax (lung collapse), two knee surgeries,
nearly lost a left leg to infection, and endured a broken foot bone
with three months in a cast...

And I’m one of the more cautious/prudent and non-adventurous persons I know.

Exactly Bahbah! Gail-Thanks for the update. We know it has been stressful beyond belief. Can't imagine what it would be like to have a mate going through surgery, the length of those surgeries is immense. Hope you are taking care of you! You need to so that you can keep taking care of that great, big, terrific patriot lying there fighting so hard.

You are both in my prayers, and like Bahbah says, that's easy...you guys are doing the difficult work. Take heart and take heed and God bless you both, over and over!

Seems to me Jeff is one strong person. With you at his side and the rest of his family and his FR family keeping him in our prayers...can’t see how he can do anything but recover fully. Will keep him in our prayers for this third minor surgery you mentioned and hopefully, this will relieve a lot of the pain he has been experiencing. Come join us on FR when Jeff is up and running again. He can show you how it is done. :) Thoughts and prayers!!! :)
