I won’t forget it eather. I’ve hated the dumb bastard ever since.
I hope you’re right; she’s much too valuable on the outside pushing on the dems!
eather = either
Yes, he has and as much as his opinion irks you, it does not make him an elitist. One way to look at it might be that Palin hasn’t ‘transitioned’ herself into a Presidential candidate YET. That might be the operative word. I wish Rove had said it.
From the guy advising President Bush to pursue Amnesty, Big GOvernment Spending, non-confrontational behavior to the attacks from the left.
Yea, I’m going to take your advice Karl.
Thanks for nothing you loser!
“she seems not so intellectually curious”
Her no-BS style, which seems unsophisticated to some people, translates into no-BS administrative efficiency. That’s what people in the party noticed about her during the citical shake-down period in the governor’s office.
...and Obama is/was!? Doofus. Palin is EXACTLY what this country needs right now! A patriotic, non-elitist, non “inside the beltway” America loving leader! Her experience is inconsequential.
All those "Rove you magnificent bastard" posts are looking pretty funny right now.
I don't see it as cheerleading. She simply paid McCain back her dues and I guarantee you she won't campaign for him as the primary nears. As for Steele, you don't pick a fight with the RNC Chairman to give the MSM ammo that there's some kind of rift. You stand up for the party, especially on the eve of a major conference where Republicans are united together.
She HAS been leading. The Facebook posts, the op-eds, the speeches...she wasn't talking about the weather. She was the only Republican out there on the front lines criticizing Obama and the Dem agenda.
I guess you don’t know John Bolton is one of her top mentors. Being as you’re new and all.
2 years will make a big difference in her readiness.
Obama wasn’t ready to be Pres either and look what happened.
As virtually the only Republican who is out there criticizing Obama's agenda and offering solutions, regardless of what the MSM says.
Exactly correct. People read into this what they want to...get all wee-wee'd up about it :-) and don't think before they type.
Wow - no wonder road rage is still at an all time high ;-)
Now THAT’s an EXCELLENT point!
Not so intellectually curious? Could you explain this further, please? I don’t know what the parameters of her curiosity are. And I don’t know that she ought to disclose them to all and sundry. On a related point, she did say in an interview with Chris Wallace that she was meeting with experts in many arenae and availing herself of their resources and scholarship on many arguments.
What makes you think that she doesn’t have the foreign policy bona fides that are important to you? A good place for you to evaluate what/how much she knows is her old Twitter account from when she was Gov..
As regards her Couric performance, yes, she did botch the response to the what-newspapers-do-you-read question. Prior to that interview with Couric, she had on several occasions written may op-ed columns for newspapers including the Washington Post and Couric’s beloved New York Times. It was an absurd question. Because she’s genuine, she was startled by it. And she bombed. But it is far-fetched in the extreme to say that she is insufficiently read or that that performance points to a lack of intellectual curiosity.
One of the greatest, most saavy, and most intelligent true Americans alive! JOHN BOLTON ROCKS!
Sarah is who she is, and she is already candidate material, and presidential material, should she choose to run.
When Margaret Thatcher was 46 she was no Margaret Thatcher either. (In fact, she’d just been appointed the Secretary for Education and Science in Heath’s government.)
I concur.
