My wife saw this interview this morning. The mainstream media is so desperate to portray Republicans as violent Ann Curry showed a map from Sarah Palin's website showing "battleground states" with a red cross-hair target on them and asked McCain if it wasn't an incitement to violence. McCain laughed at her, outloud laughing, and pointed out the obvious that they had been called battleground states since he was in politics and cross-hairs commonly used.
Would love to see it.
Don’t have it, but saw it. She came off as Obama’s geisha. McCain stood his ground.
Saw the interview. McCain took her right out of her(lightweight) game. I was proud of Senetor McCain.
This was posted earlier BSMBC may have the video up by now.

Reichstag Fire II.
CNN was showing the map this morning also.
No great accomplishment. Patty Murray could take Ann Curry two out of three falls in an interview if she had to.
Wow — Ann Curry is a complete lunatic toady. I’ve never seen such willfull stupidity to make a pretend point on the behalf of the far left . . . and I’ve watched politics for a lifetime. Ack! She’s horrible.
Glen Beck had a similar take on the situation, falling into the same trap.
Of course they "want" it, but here the comparison ends.
In their previous incarnation, the radical bomb-throwers, killers and arsonists were facing "The Man," the opponent with rules and handcuffs.
Now that they have swapped roles, "The Man," and his flying monkeys and private armies will have no such restraint.
The radicals in their new suits have no fear of the "rule of law," since they have for all purposes destroyed it, along with the Constitution.
They are now our greatest physical enemy, even more so than is islam.
Do you think maybe, just maybe, John McCain is getting an eye opener that politics aren’t like they were 20 years ago? That those loony hippies from the 60’s are now in office (and their protege-meaning Bill Ayers’ guy as the President)
Agreed. I sent you the link so you wouldn't think the "Meet the Girl with Half a Brain" story was the one you wanted. :)
Also sent Anny an e-mail of the Kill Bush thread.
But I think Republicans need to attack the media. Ann Curry? Naaaaaah -- that was Robert Gibbs doing the Interview. That was Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid. What you have there is a Leftwing extremist accusing Sarah Palin and John McCain of inciting violence.
Saying "We condemn violence" isn't bad.
But accusing the media of telling lies, carrying the Democrats water, and setting the stage for a backlash against Republicans -- who haven't participated in any violence -- is much better.
Ann Coulter is the model to follow. Mock and Attack the media. They are the enemy.
The Left has a very long history of political violence, riots, and assassination. The Republicans do not -- and the Republicans ought not to be on the defensive with nothing more to say than "We condemn violence".
That's unilateral disarmament. We need to verbally attack the facilitators of Leftwing violence.

As opposed to rolling over in submission?
Anyone remember AL SHARPTON INCITED RIOTS and PEOPLE DIED???? AL SHARTON has BLOOD on his hands!!
Poor old Mccain has been playing conservative for the last 6 months, he’s up for re-election....don’t be fooled by him...
So true. The desperation to work in the word “incendiary” along with “Conservative” was painful to witness. McCain did a find job holding things together with the idiot Ann Curry.
