When I think of what could have been, where we could be as a nation, it makes me weep.

There are security reasons for keeping our own industrial base and Duncan Hunter realizes that.
It doesn’t matter a hill of beans to me whether free market goods will be cheaper if we use cheap overseas labor and that entire argument.
What matters is what is ultimate. And what is ultimate is that when war comes we must be self-sufficient in every area of the economy. We must have food, shoes, tractors, tanks, planes, ships, energy....you name it. We need a security-level representation of every piece of industry in our own country.
There is no possible Republican candidate who can debate as well as Duncan Hunter can, because he’s more honest and loyal to the USA than any of the rest of them.
Pissant, thanks for keeping us updated on DH. He is the antithesis of what we’ve got in there now. Maybe our country will see the need for this very principled man in 2012, as we will be desperate for someone of his character to be elected as POTUS.
