Jon Friedman of Marketwatch recently wrote a column in which he contends that Tiger Woods will eventually be bigger than ever as long as he can get control of his sex-addiction and that the public views it as such. Friedman also highlighted the fact that the public loves a comeback story which will be a key factor in Tigers future success. I agree with Friedmans entire premise but I dont think that Woods needs to wait for public perception to turn.
It is not a question of whether Tiger Woods can become bigger than ever. Tiger Woods is- bigger than ever and it is naïve to believe otherwise.
Regardless of the number of people who are verbally flogging him, the fact is...

Tiger is a POS.
He should take on the bad guy role that is seen in wrestling. hang with hot babes, crush your opponents without mercy, etc....be the bad a$$ of golf (to the extent that is even possible). Really play it up.
I bet is endorsements would go through the roof and so would viewership. he would be hated by half and loved by the other half, but everyone would watch.
I bet that Augusta National asks him to take this year off or Martha Burke will have all Tigers whores lined up at the gate.
It allows them to elevate themselves by thinking that having gutter morals isn't so bad after-all, if people who have everything the world has to offer are the same way.
Golf needs to allow tennis and hockey crowds in. Why go out to watch a sporting event and keep your mouth closed. Or if you are a real fan, shout “get in the hole”. Oh oh, didn’t mean that tiger.
Naw, he’s toast. He will never again be thought of as anything besides a guy that had it all, but pi$$ed it away due to lack of a moral center and self-control.
Yeah, but everybody loves a comeback.
whatever...
That is hillarious MattNJ. I must say it would be pretty funny to see him take your advice.
Tiger likes getting white girls because he can now that he is rich and famous. Simple as that. He married for the image enhancement.

I don’t disagree with you that his image may be toast but people will still watch him for different reasons and if he continues to play at his level or even get better, he will make more money.
LOL, I was thinking the same thing, take up smoking on the course like Daly, look unkempt, laugh when playing partners make bad shots...liven things up a little.
The fake remorse is repugnant to me.
He didn't cheat with a woman he cared about - he hired large groups of hookers to service him at the same time. Here's hoping his wife doesn't have every venereal disease known to man...
Tiger's problem wasn't "sex addiction" it was being a lying ass*ole...
Guarantees a successful future in politics ;-)
Yes, possibly he will regain a playing level, and will continue to make money, but he will always be tainted by his current circumstances. He will never be as admired again as he was, and I doubt that his sponsors will all fall back into line.
It’s not just a one-time affair for him, it went way past that.
You SHOULD be right and would be in the America of our fathers. However, like one commentor said, as long as he doesn’t profess to be a Christian, the public will be willing to embrace him.
He should shout out, "I'm rich, b|tch" or "Can you say Billionaire?" after sinking a tremendous putt. Go out drinking with Daly in Vegas.
Just really roll these country club guys like circus clowns. Just make it his mission in life to absolutely steamroll everyone.
Maybe it's me, but I think it would be tremendous.
