I think the issue is that Social Security is broke (the 'lock box' having been broken into years ago, and raided clean).
The 'Baby-Boomer' retirement tsunami has begun.
The Government is broke.
They are printing up money like crazy to keep the bloated bureaucracy running - but unless they come up with a new revenue stream this will turn our currency into Zimbabwe bucks...
Thus the need to create the 'health care crisis' - creating another tax/revenue stream, to enable the government to keep their Ponzi scam running for another decade or so...

The insurance industries and drug companies love this and endorse this monstrosity , you must ask yourself why.
If you were a company that knew in a few years the government took over your business, why would you support them?
I see no evidence that the “big money” is fighting this.
There must be something in it for them.

I have no idea what they think is in it for them.

They might mandate insurance at the start but it will become government insurance sooner or later and put them out of business. What is in it for Big Pharma when government rations treatments and medicines? I guess we get $500 hammers I expect they think the government will pay $75 for an aspirin or something.

I really doubt its going to benefit them in the long run, I think leftists must be running those companies.
