The obsession of conservative politicians and pundits with the mind-boggling national debt and massive budgetary deficit spending of the Obama Administration and Congress may appear to be mumbo-jumbo to average citizens.
Constant manipulation of data by economists, the government, and politicians lead an already-skeptical public to ask, 'So what? What has this got to do with me?'
The answer is, it has everything to do with average citizens. What is needed is straight talk--plain talk that can make it clear to the public the enormous impact that the failure to deal with the debt and deficit will have on their daily lives.

What once cost $1.00 is/will be $1.16 or more.
Example: $1.00 2 liters of Coke & Pepsi are ranging from $1.29 - $1.89 each on a last trip to 2 places.
Everything else is simple algebra.

Who’s to say the money slated to go to Nevada isn’t really for the triads and American mob?
Hmm... or we could pass another stimulus bill that pays off all outstanding social security, then eliminates the program. I like that idea a lot better :) Especially if it also starts paring down Medi-care/aid and slicing off Edu/Energy and others. (EPA!)
