Pelosi Aide Says Healthcare Summit A FRAUD-Dems Already Decided On Ramming Bill Through

Those who believe the President's latest move toward bi-partisanship is a political "slight-of-hand" may very well be correct. In In comments reported by the subscription only Congress Daily, the most powerful Woman in the World, Nancy Pelosi’s top health care aide Wendell Primus admitted top Democrats have already decided on the strategy to pass the Senate's pro-abortion, government-run health care bill. In fact he says Obama's latest "friendly gestures" is all a trick

The basic plan is Pelosi will twist arm to get the house to pass the Senate bill, plus another bill representing changes to that Senate bill that the leadership of both houses have already agreed to. The Senate will then use reconciliation to pass that second bill. And the President will sign first the Senate bill and then the bill with the changes. The bi-partisan heath-care summit is simply a charade says Primas.

They are so toasted come November.

It’s gonna be a fun to watch bloodbath come election night 2010.

I just hope the new congress can reverse this nightmare.

What alarmed me was the inclusion of a statement to the effect that new administrations could not go back and amend or do away with any of the provisions which was in the first bill Obama & cronies wanted passed. I took comfort from the fact that the next President down the line could modify or do away with the entire thing. Everyone voting on this horrendous thing better make sure we are not stuck with it in perpetuity.

Of course, it's a fraud. Isn't everything about this "trojan horse" for socialism a fraud?

Where are the defenders of liberty? Is there a Senator or Congressman anywhere who understands the ideas of liberty well enough to expose the counterfeit ideas represented by Obama, Pelosi, Reid and all the others intent on destroying freedom for their bosses, "We, the People"?

Gee, What more do we need to know about this deathcare to realize that it NOTHING to do with what the American people want and it NOTHING MORE THAN A POWER PLAY FOR THE DUMB-O-CRATS.

Why not have plastic face Nancy Pelosi just say to the American people F-you we don’t care what you say we’re going to do whatever WE want.

I believe that the vote was close in the House the last time around because Pelosi allowed many Dems from nonliberal districts to vote against the bill so that they could claim independence in November. Even without the votes of Cao, Murtha, Wexler and as many prolifers as Stupak can muster, all she has to do is call in enough of those faux Blue Dogs to get a majority. Never underestimate the powers of the Wicked Witch of the West.

On the other hand, if the Democrats use this kind of manuver to pass a monstrosity opposed by 60% of the voters, a year from now those Blue Dogs won't be in office and Pelosi won't be the Speaker of the House.

Good, let them pass it. Makes it easier for a large Tea Party take over of the Congress that will simply reverse the bill and pass tort reform.

Anyone who followed Pelosi off the cliff, like say Markey of Colorado who voted no after voting yes a half dozen times previously, would be toast in November. On top of that consideration, would she do it before it passed reconcilliation? I doubt Reid has 51 in the Senate for that.

Remember, they will be voting for the Nelson earmark and the La. giveaway and the higher union taxes and whatnot. . . I just think she's in total bluff mode, holding a 2 of clubs and a 9 of spades.

I like what you said, but in my entire life time I have not seen a single piece of legislation get repealed. This scares the hell out of me.

Congress that will simply reverse the bill and pass tort reform.

Unfortunately, it is not a matter of a new Congress reversing this bill. You have to consider that the new Congress would have to have enough votes to override Obama's certain veto, i.e., two-thirds. That's a lot.

Was that post really directed at me? Also, what exactly is your point? I was simply pointing out the problem of overcoming any damage that the Democrats may do.
