Despite the fact that many SF bookstores refused to stock Palin’s book, for several weeks it was on the SF Chronicals bestsellers list which is based solely on sales by independent bookstores.
Yes, I remember the article about that....and thought at the time that Amazon.com was fortunate to have the competitors they do.
