Because as long as they have to set themselves apart, use code language, (and “hip-hop” is a code name here for negro), or try to “appeal” or “relate” to “the brothas” with that kind of language, they are NEVER going to be fully accepted. I don't understand. Accepted by whom? Electoral politics is about coalition building. Every campaign I have ever seen includes many ad hoc support groups, based on all sorts of criteria - professions, locality, religion, hobbies, etc. Last time I checked, we need every vote we can get to wrest power from the Democrat Party. I'll take Hip Hop votes all day.
